Through the Ages
by Narwe Silverflame
First battle of time
Was fought among gods
With fire and force,
With lightning and fate.
Son clashed with father
And uncle with niece
And they split the world
And heavens and hell.
The peace was destroyed
And harmony lost.
Fables Elysium
Had barely been spared.
At last even stars
Descended to fight,
Awakened by plea
To help and protect.
Eighty-eight group came
To fight by the side
Of goddess of war
And wisdom and wit.
So it had happened
In Age of the Myths,
Stars knelt before Her
Allegiance to swear.
To fight they claimed shapes
And Cloths for defense,
Their Cosmo blazed bronze
And silver and gold.
The power of some
Had rivaled the gods'
And war was drawing
To closure at last.
The fights were ended
But grudges remained.
So did the promise
The stars gave to Her.
Now ages had passed
And still the pledge stands,
Each generation
Renews it again.
As warriors they rise
From all around world
To gather in Greece
With bright blazing eyes.
Their fists can cut skies
And kicks shatter earth
With Cosmo of bronze
Or silver or gold.
This story of old
Is written in stars,
In constellations
Is spread across skies.
In them we can ready
Most epic of tales,
The greatest of all
That's even been told.
In hours of night
We ponder and look
At stars that still blaze
Bronze, silver and gold.
