Cassandra
By vivi scarlett
Summary: Reincarnation fiction. Cassandra is acting strangely. Is she a true Seer? Who will be who in their next lives? (time skips) What will this reveal about their personalities?
Cassandra turned to her brother. "You and Elspeth have something very special." She said solemnly. "Your love will last beyond death." No-one believed Cassandra's nasty attention-seeking 'prophecies'...Until one day, when one was morbidly proved right...
One- CrazedPrincess Cassandra lived a lonely life. She was a Seer. Cassandra never could share her feelings, let alone give her heart. She was a princess, and a useless one at that. She existed only to be married off to someone to cement an alliance. Her older brother, Prince Leontes, would inherit the throne from their father, the king.
Being a Seer came naturally to her, but she hated it. Whenever she met anyone, she would See their death. She would much rather be like the free Bards. Their talent came just as easily to them. Those who weren't naturals tended to be Guild.
The future weighed heavily apon her, and she wished she could be as free as Lark, or Wren, or
Finch.
No-one ever believed her.
She tried to warn him. None could say he had been ignorant of his fate. But Prince Aysenn would die this day.
"Aysenn!"Aysenn turned. "Cassie!" he cried joyfully.
"Aysenn, you must not go hunting today! I have foreseen. If you go, you shall surely die!"
and he only laughed, as if she had been joking.
King Ralinn entered Cassandra's chambers. "Cassandra, your cousin Aysenn-"
"He's dead. He died two marks past noon. I tried to tell him, Father. He laughed when I prophesied."
Katerin, Cassandra's maid stood in the doorway, shocked. Cassandra had not shed a single tear. Her voice was level. Cassandra seemed entirely unaffected by this tragedy.
