A/N: My friend wrote these for my Series about Piccolo failling in love, but she didn't want to put them up so she told me to, since it would make more sense anyway if they were near the stories they were about.

She Tries

The strength she carries inside her heart,
Masked by ignorance that she expresses.
The lies she tells,
The smiles she fakes.
The problems in her life that she hides.
The strength she uses to help her friends instead of herself.
The weak wall between sanity and insanity,
That she's been told she will eventualy cross and never return.
The fact she forces herself to not cross the line, but to venture into the land or creativity instead.

All of these are aspects of her.
Aspects that make up her entire being.
The love she sends out can never equal what she gets back,
The friendship and caring she expels with never fully return to her.
And yet, still she tries.
And I will do all I can to return everything she gives out.
