Chapter One: Lulu's point of view.

Azula, Rosie, and I used to be the best of friends; we did everything absolutely everything together. But that was back before Azula replaced us with Mai and Ty Lee for being "too weak" to be her friends and Rosie and I were still proud to be born in the fire nation. Nowadays, there isn't much to be proud of. When Rosie, Ray(her twin brother), and I were seventeen we realized how wrong everyone around us was, we believed in peace, and harmony, while everyone around us pushed power and destruction into our beliefs. The three of us had been talking about running off for a while, but when we heard the fire nation had the young new avatar, Aang captive we finally decided to act. We found him, and helped him escape. All we wanted in return was to travel with him and his friends. We are now traveling across the four nations on his flying byson, with him, Katara, and Sakka.

"Uhhg! Katara, I give up! I can't do this!" Yelled Aang in frustration flopping down in the cold water.

"Aang, you can do it! You're doing great! Just keep trying! "Said Katara, always so encouraging. God, she is so annoying. We currently hiding out in some cold mountain somewhere not far from the southern water tribe. After we saved Aang we went back for Katara and Sakka, and we are moving SO SLOW. I'm really tired of all this cold weather! I'm a FIRE BENDER for god's sake!

"Hey Lu, do you want to help me find some stuff to make a fire? It's getting colder as it gets darker" Said Rosie snapping me out of thought.

"I guess, like we'll even find anything in this FROZEN WASTELAND!"

"You're always so negative, Lu" Giggled Rosie.

"Yeah, yeah shut up" I replied getting up lazily to join her.

We walked all over and found like two sticks, so we ended up burning a few wooden bowls we had. Katara made us annoying soup (not because it's gross, or I'm sick of it or anything, just because everything produced by is annoying). We all sat around the fire and enjoyed Katara's annoying soup. Everyone was giggling and talking but I mostly sat there and watched Rosie blush like a radish while Sakka told her a story about the "mysterious missing jerky", she is so oblivious about her feelings for him it's almost TOO CUTE. I wish they would just make out and get if over with already.

"Hey Lulu" said Ray tapping me on the shoulder.

"Hmmm?" I replied, wondering what was SO Important that he had to interrupt my thoughts. "

"Do you want my bread? I.. Uh.. I don't want it."

"uhh.. sure." I said rolling my eye's trying to maintain my sarcastic façade. OH MY GOD! I love bread so much. I bit into it expecting soft goodness but it was cold, and hard.

"Uhh.. this is cold" I pouted.

"oh, I'll heat it up for you! " He said, always so kind, it was weird i was used to Zuko being so grouchy and awkward.. She missed zuko.

"I can do it mys-" I started to say, but before I could finish my sentence he lit my bread on fire and stopped at just the right time leaving it a perfect golden brown. I bit into and this time my teeth sunk right through it.

"mmmmm! This is perfect! How did you do that?" I asked maybe a little too enthusiastic. I redeemed myself by throwing a sliver of ice at Sakka's head.

"HEY!" Yelled Sakka.

Ray snorted and said "I'm just that skilled"

"Pffttt, okay" I said rolling my eyes.

Katara annoyingly spoke up "We should all get some sleep, we have to start traveling to the earth kingdom tomorrow"

They all agreed, Why they listen to her? I don't know.. even if she IS right.. whatever. I rolled over and went to sleep without another word.
