Since When
Scully was definitely unsure about this. Spending the next few days living with Mulder was turning out to be tougher then she thought. On Monday, he wanted to stay up and talk all nights, but on Tuesday he had basically ignored her. As smart as she was, Mulder was one thing she would probably never understand. One day it was flirty Fox, the next-zilch. She had to admit, she liked the playful side of her partner, but actually hookn' up...
"Scully come on. Get your but out here." He whined. "We're gonna be late."
Dana yanked the toothbrush out of her mouth. 'My God he's a whinny baby' she thought to herself. She stepped out of the bathroom and starred at Mulder with that annoyed look on her face. "Em brushen ma teet" Then she stepped back into the bathroom, picked up Mulder's spare alien teemed toothbrush, and finished the top row of teeth. Fox had surprised her earlier with dinner reservations at a nice restaurant. Always full of surprises. Suddenly Mulder popped his head into the room.
"Look, Babe. I know you're brushen ya teet, but I got reservations for 6:30, so hurry up."
"Yeah, I know" She slushed and spit, then cleaned her face. "Okay, all ready."
"Finally."
"So, Mulder, I gotta ask. What's the occasion?"
"Ah, come on Babe. Since when do I need a reason to take you out to dinner."
"Babe? Since when did you start calling me Babe?" she asked him. He just starred at her with that deadpan expression that always bothered her. He was silent for a moment, then turned on his heal and headed toward the door.
As he was walking out, he called to her, " Come on hot stuff. If you're not out here in ten seconds, I'm not holding the elevator."
Scully smiled to herself, stepped out of the apartment, locked the door, and made it to the elevator just in time to catch Mulder before the doors shut.
