Summary: Sasuke challenges Itachi to a game of Checkers! Oneshot.
"Itachi! I challenge you to a game of checkers!" Sasuke shouts, pointing to his dreaded older sibling.
"Foolish little brother, you think you can beat me in such a trivial game. Fine, I accept your challenge but you shall loose Sasuke." Itachi mutters in response. In seconds Sasuke has the board set up and has all his red pieces lined up perfectly. Itachi picks up one of the black pieces and sets it on a random square.
"You're supposed to use all the pieces." Sasuke snickers, thinking Itachi doesn't know how to play checkers.
"I only need one piece to defeat you." Itachi responds simply.
"Fine then, go!" Sasuke shouts back.
The game is tense to Sasuke as he thinks about and plans each move carefully but Itachi is just hopping around, not jumping any of Sasuke's pieces and keeping his one piece out of harms way.
"Stop messing around and play already!" Sasuke finally shouts and Itachi responds by picking up his solitary piece and jumping it all around the board, swiping each red piece away. Sasuke sits there dumbstruck.
"Remind you of anything little brother?"
"Go. To. Hell." Sasuke growls and storms off angrily.
You get it? One thing taking out a bunch of other things all at once? Yeah, my boyfriend Joe said he was playing checkers with his friend Chris. Chris's favorite character is Sasuke and Joe did what Itachi did in this story. I laughed so hard then opened a word document to write it down.
