What do you seek in this story, lowlife?

A life of adventure, a history of wars, a future of companionship with you worthless mongrels, perhaps?

Oh, how very wrong you are.

We have a history of vicious battles, true, but not war. Never war. We are a blood thirsty race, but we always keep the non-combatents away from our brawls. Our entire economy does not suffer if we disagree on something.

We have adventures, also true. But do you have the guts to read ahead, to know what our noble and vicious species considers adventure?

And do not even think of a possible friendship between us; any Goblin who helps one of you without later stabbing you in the back is not a Goblin fit for our society.

So, do you have what it takes to read about us, to try and understand us?

Can the worthless mass of protein you call a brain truly comprehend what it means to be a Goblin, living under the rule of our enemies?

Or, will you back out, safe in the knowledge that you are correct, you are always correct, and that we simply despise you for no reason, but selfishness?

I guess the answer to the above shows if there is some hope left for you, yet.

Read ahead, and see a glimpse human; a glimpse of a life well lived. Glimpse the past, the last time we were free of any other rulers, when we were free to roam the earth.

And then see what our society has been reduced to, after so many years of servitude to your kind.

And then, perhaps, you will see why we would never trust you again. Why we would never seek your friendship ever again.
