Just a quick little story I was thinking about while walking my dog this morning. Sorry in advance if this prompt has already been used.
Disclaimer: Unfortunately I don't own My Hero Academia…if I did, there would be a lot more TodoMomo moments for my shipper heart.
The room was warm. The lesson boring. The open window letting in the cool breeze had Shoto's eyes shifting from the front of the class and Midnight sensei's lesson to the rays of light streaming in.
It was too nice to be inside.
Shoto's mind wanders away from the lesson on hand, drifting from the sunlight streaming in from outside to land on the onyx eyed girl sitting next to him. The light plays with her hair and he watches as her forehead crinkles in concentration.
He studies her expression as she continues to take detailed notes. Unaware of his gaze. Every once in a while Shoto looks back to the front of the class, pretending that he is listening, but unconsciously, his gaze keeps being pulled back to the girl sitting next to him.
Momo Yaoyorozu is pretty. She doesn't wear heavy makeup. She just has a natural beauty. And her earnest and innocent nature make people want to be around her, support her, protect her.
She puts her pen to her lip in thought and Shoto's eyes follow the movement. He wonders if she's ever kissed someone before. He frowns at the thought.
He knows that she has admirers. Heard some of the boys even whispering in the hallways about her. He himself has quite a few followers. A fan club, as they call themselves that pester him in the hallways and unexpectedly leave him gifts in his locker. Somehow though, the thought of her having kissed another has his stomach clenching unpleasantly and leaves a sour taste in his mouth.
What should he care? He's in the hero course to get stronger. To be the best.
His eyes unconsciously go back to her lips. They are pink with a slight plumpness like a peach. Unbidden, he wonders what they would taste like…
"Todoroki Shoto please read passage 8."
Shoto's eyes snap back to the front of the class and he stands up, returning his mind to the lecture at hand. He'd think about what this all means at another time.
Hope you liked it! Reviews and constructive critiques are always welcome.
