Warriors: Lights of Time: Book One:: Dawnheart's Destiny

The future of the clans is becoming dark as time continues. It is years after the unfortunate deaths of Bramblestar and Squirrelstar. A young cat is born, a descendant of Spottedleaf's long-lost sister. When she discovers a terrible prophecy, 'The clans will fall if the lights of time do not succeed,' what can she do? Does the prophecy have something to do with the three kits?

Prologue

I laid in the warriors' den. I thought hard. How am I supposed to hide it much longer? I am going to have to join the Queens soon, my kits are just moons from being born! I thought. I swished my long, spotted tail. I stayed silent for a few more moments before I sighed. He has to know sooner or later, I though. The leaves of the den rustled and I saw him. He was a white tom with a blue paw. His green eyes filled with love when he saw me. I smiled kindly at him.

"Hey, Silentfeather," he meowed. I smiled.

"Hello, Splashfoot," I said. He sat down. "I have something to tell you." He cocked his head and his eyes filled with concern.

"Oh, Silentfeather, you can tell me anything," he meowed, almost whispering.

"I am pregnant," I meowed and his eyes widened.

"Your... I'm... I am a father!" he yowled happily. I smiled at his excitement as he jumped around the den. Suddenly, I felt myself wrath in pain. I let out a shriek of pain. Splashfoot widened his eyes and then bounded away, getting the medicine cat. Soon, he returned. I narrowed my eyes, trying to keep my jaws shut.

"Bite on this," the medicine cat meowed, pushing a stick into my mouth. I felt a ripple of pain and bit down, hard. I heard the she-cat telling my mate to do something, but I didn't fully understand it. Another two ripples of pain and the stick broke in two. I felt myself calm as I moved my head. I saw three small bundles of fur laying beside of me.

"Let's name her Midnightkit," meowed my mate as he motioned to a black she-kit. I nodded.

"I will call him Duskkit," I meowed, motioning to the only tom, a red tom with white flecks on his pelt.

"And this one is Dawnkit," my mate and I said at the same time, pointing to a calico she-kit. I felt a spark between the two of us, and by the look in Splashfoot's eyes, he felt it too. I smiled and nuzzled Dawnkit. She let out a mew and I chuckled. I laid down and felt myself drift to sleep.

Hey, hey, hey everyone! It is I, the amazing Swiftstorm, with a brand new warrior story! For once, I am writing a story that has to do with the four original clans! I hope everyone likes it! I got inspiration to write a story with Thunderclan in it from NYAN KITTY, so thanks for everything! Though this clan has nothing to do with that story, it inspired me to write this.
