Beth charges into her dreams with a wet face and feathers. Her eyes are bloodshot. Her lipstick is bleeding, and she keeps spitting sour alcohol breath with every gasp and gurgle. Something is bubbling in her throat.
Nina opens her mouth and gives her an invitation: dump the poison, whatever it is. Beth does just what she invites over and over again.
Her tongue shrivels and begs no more poison. Her teeth itch, rattle, and threaten to drop from their sockets. Beth continues vomiting her poison and she continues taking it over and over again.
Beth flees; sated and free.
