Chapter 1: What?

The halfa which had been Danny Fenton/Phantom looked at the unfamiliar landscape. He looked at all of the places which had been familiar only a minute ago.

No Fenton Works. No school, no school! I could get used to this! No ghosts (that he knew of). Added bonus. A boy came out of his all purple house and whistled feverishly. He got out of the whistling and muttered, " Who am I kidding."

He spotted Danny.

"Here, kitty, kitty!"

Back at Amity Park

Danny was missing.

"What do you mean, Danny's missing?" Sam Manson quipped.

" I know that he goes on outings, but he would have told us."

"I have absolutely no idea where he is. Perhaps Clockwork could have-" Tucker responded, himself being interrupted by his friend.

"Let's go to to the Fenton Sub."

Ever since the first machine that had acted like that piece of meatloaf Danny's father was all too familiar with, his parents had decided it was time to build backup.

They nestled themselves themselves in it and ventured through the Ghost Zone.

The Ghost Zone

Clockwork was musing on his latest masterful prank.

Oh, did anyone remember?

It was April Fools Day, and he wanted to scheme up a masterful prank. He had done so to his mutual friend Daniel "Danny" Fenton/ Phantom. Just wait 'till he discovers he has a feline form, and is 'off to see the Wizard', so to speak. Just think what Danny's Phantom form will look like, now he's a cat!

Back to Sam and Tucker (in the Ghost Zone)

"What'ya mean it's April Fool's Day?" Sam concerningly said.

Clockwork turned, shocked.

" Ah, it's only you, Samantha and Tucker. " he relaxingly said," Everyone knows April 1st is April Fool's Day."

Sam responded, in a panic, "Clockwork, April Fool's Day is tomorrow. It's March 31st,"

"Oh, darn," Clockwork nervously quipped, " My prank is set to end at midnight on April Fool's Day."

Tucker was worried. "Can you get us to Danny?"

"Yes I can, Tucker," Clockwork said, trying to conceal his concern, " I am warning you, though, it will be hard to find Daniel. He is in a different form."

"Don't worry, Clockwork," determinedly said Sam,"I can pull Danny out of any crowd."

"O.K., then. Try this. He is a cat in the Gillikin country of the Land of Oz."

Tucker and Sam almost fainted.

"Oh, crud."
