Edward, I'm gonna tell her I thought at Edward. I lost the bet so according to Jasper I had to tell Bella what we'd always thought of Edward.
She was on the couch with Renesmee, my little niece is so beautiful.
Jasper nudged my arm encouragingly a grin spread wide on his face.
"Bella?" I asked my sister carefully. Jasper was giggling at my elbow, his whole frame shaking with the attempt he was making not to laugh.
"What is it Emmett?" she asked her eyes full of questions, her daughter raised her hand to her face.
"No I don't know what's wrong with Uncle Jasper." She murmured to her.
"Bella, did you know before you got here" I stopped to sigh for effect glancing at Edward. Oh bite me I thought at Edward, though he probably might take me seriously later.
"We all thought Edward was-" Jasper looked at me.
"Sorry, Jasper and I thought Edward was gay" I said Jasper finally breaking through all his self control and was on the floor. I too was having a hard time trying to control my laughter but I wasn't finished with my story yet.
"You should have seen the things he would do" my speaking was muffled then because Edward had jumped up and was on top of me in seconds.
"If you tell her about that I will make you no guarantee spare your life" Edward spat at me.
"What aren't you telling me Edward?" Bella said with accusatory eyes.
"Well awhile back Edward enjoyed being barbied by Alice, and he was the odd man out giving Jasper weird looks all the time and-"
"Enough!!!" Edward shouted "You know that most of that wasn't true"
"Most?" Bella said raising one eyebrow "Edward, what part of that wasn't true?"
"Fine…I liked being barbied by Alice but that was only once that I stared at Jasper and not weirdly. I was just staring off into nothingness and Jasper was the main focal point-"
"Ha what were you thinking about, bet you were fantasizing about him" I said giving Jasper a mock wistful glance.
"What the hell is going on?" Jacob had just come in from the kitchen, I could imagine how this might look to him. Edward on top of me Jasper rolling on the floor 'tears coming out of his eyes' Bella and Renesmee, who was laughing as well probably at her Uncle Jasper whom she was staring at.
"Edward let's go to the cottage" Bella said cautiously.
"Awww but I just got here…can I come?" Jacob asked.
"Well, Edward what do you think?" Bella asked Edward cautiously. Nice I thought at Edward not control freaking her at all I thought sarcastically.
"Anything to get away from these monsters" Edward said hurriedly standing up. "But you are so on, tonight" Edward said glaring at me then Jasper. "Jasper if you can hear me, you too I know that most of this is your fault. Stupid me why do I let you two bet?" Edward said exasperated by the end.
"C'mon Bella let's go I'll hold Renesmee" Jacob said.
Bet you will love just love this conversation I thought at him as he walked not the door.
"Well that was interesting" Jasper said finally getting off the floor and wiping off his pants
"Wonder what the dog thinks of all this" I wondered aloud
"Who cares, let's go tell Rosalie of our success" Jasper said
"Let's!" I agreed enthusiastically.
