Hey, I just want to thank The Green Pilgrim for letting me do this fan fiction, it's a spin-off her story, Shadebusters, if you haven't read then go do so.

And I'm sorry, but this doesn't live up to the reputation of Shadebusters, but I did the best I could.

Chapter One

"Hey Arya, check this out!" Eragon ran up to Arya with a flyer and shoved it in her face. "Read it, read it!"

Arya sighed. "What Eragon?" too tired to really care, but knowing he wouldn't leave her alone until she looked at whatever it was he wanted her to look at.

As Eragon jumped around the room in obvious delight as Arya read the flyer. AS she finished she looked up, "A Shade house birthday party, what about it?"

"Well there'll be a lot of Shades…" he started. Arya realised what Eragon was getting to and tried to delay the moment.

"And?"

"Well, you know, we kind of kill Shade's and this time there will be, like, fifty of them"

"And how do you suppose that we will even manage to kill half of them?" she asked, thinking that their might be even the slightest chance that she could talk Eragon out of his third stupid idea for the day.

"Well, I was thinking," Eragon said. Arya sighed. "That we could go in and kill them like we usually do."

"Fine, I give up, let's go in and get killed," Arya said.

"If you think we're going to die, wanna make out first?" Eragon seized the opportunity.

"NO!" Arya started to get up and Eragon ran away.

"We're here," Eragon announced loudly.

"I can tell," Arya replied dryly.

As they walked in, they were blinded in the darkness and flashing lights, all the while listening to the funky music playing.

"Oooh, look at the pretty lights," Eragon said as he looked up in wonder.

Eragon, Arya, Saphira, let's start killing them, Glaedr said, from inside his saddlebag.

"Ok," Eragon said eagerly.

Then they pulled out their swords and Eragon shouted, "WHO YOU GONNA CALL?"

SHADEBUSTERS, Glaedr and Saphira projected their thoughts to every one in the room, and as all the Shades in the room turned, they attacked.

Three hours later…

"That was more than fifty Shades, Eragon," Arya said angrily, as she bleed heavily from a couple of scratches on her face.

"Well, at least they didn't have any swords," he said defensively, holding his arm where he had also been scratched.

"Have you seen the size of their nails?"

"Well, that's not my fault they have good manicures."

Both of you drop it, Glaedr intervened.

After a moment Eragon talked again, "Arya, I'm sorry, can I make it up to you?"

Arya turned to him and said, "No Eragon I WILL NOT make out with you."

Eragon, looking crestfallen, fell silent.

That was harsh, Glaedr said to Arya.

I don't care, she said back, and had a last thought as they arrived back in Ellesmere, I have to get out of this business.

Good luck telling Eragon that.

Arya glared in the general direction of Glaedr's heart of hearts.
