A Surprise
Shock.
That was one of the many feelings that Tenya Iida was currently experiencing. Some others include confusion, worry, and even anger. Before he knew it, he was running, running to the stairs to escape the current situation.
When he reached the common room on the first floor, he was meet with expecting looks from his classmates, which then turned to worry when they saw his face.
"Whoa dude! You look like you just saw a ghost! What happened?" Kirishima called out from across the room.
After taking a moment to compose himself, Iida answered his classmates question. "I… just witnessed something that I never thought I would…"
Just from the tone of his voice, the members of class 1-A knew the situation was serious. "Ok, start from the beginning, what happened?" Mom asked.
"Well…" Iida said, beginning his story.
Most of class 1-A was in the common area, getting ready for dinner and a movie night to follow. It had been a tradition of sorts for the class to have a movie night to help unwind after a long week of training. They took turns picking the movies, alternating between boys and girls, with a few stipulations put in place, like nothing rated R, and no chick flicks. More often than not though, they just ended up with some super hero movie.
Dinner was almost ready, so the class decided it was time to get the remaining members of their class to come down and eat.
"Yo Iida, you mind going up and getting Midoriya and Uraraka?" Kaminari called out.
As of late Ochako had been struggling in a couple of her classes, so being the good friend he is, Izuku offered to tutor her every now and again.
"Very well, I shall be down shortly." Iida said as he began walking towards the stairs.
A few minutes later, he had arrived at his destination, Izuku's room. He approached the door and began knocking. "Midoriya, Uraraka, it is time for dinner."
He waited a moment, but he got no response. He knocked again, assuming that they didn't hear him. "Midoriya, Uraraka, are you there?" This time however, the door opened slightly. Worried about his friends well being, considering that they weren't responding and the door was open, he went inside to check on them. What he saw when he opened the door caused him to freeze. Izuku and Ochako were sitting on his bed… and they were making out. And from the looks of it, as well as the fact that they still didn't notice Iida's presence, they were quite into it. Not knowing what to do about the current situation, Iida quickly ran out of the room and went downstairs.
Back to the present.
When Iida finished telling his story, he looked up to see everyone have a look of shock on their faces.
"WHAT?!" The entire class yelled out simultaneously.
"Midoriya and Uraraka were… making out?!" Mina said, eyes wide open.
"…Yeah" Iida responded.
"… Well then, I don't think any of us expected that." Momo said.
"I did." Aoyama said, but no-one seemed to of noticed, or cared.
"Are you going to be alright?" Kirishima said.
"Why wouldn't he be? I mean, his two best friends are apparently together now!" Mina said, slapping the back of her horn buddy's head.
"First of all, ow, second of all, if I was him, I would be worried. I mean, things might get awkward between the three of them, or he may end up being a third wheel." Kirishima explained, while rubbing the back of his head.
"Oh… yeah, you make a good point… you going to be alright?" Mina asked.
"I… I think I will be alright… I just need to talk to them about this…" Iida said.
"Ok, we will give you guys some space to sort things out. For now though, we really should get them to come down, dinner is ready." Momo explained.
"Wait… where is Bakugou?" Tsuyu asked.
Meanwhile, upstairs.
Bakugou was walking up to Izuku's door, and he, rather aggressively, knocked on the door yelling out "HEY! IF YOU TWO ARE DONE SUCKING FACE DINNER IS READY AND I AM NOT WAITING! SO HURRY UP!"
The action immediately got Izuku's and Ochako's attention, and both of their faces turned completely red.
"Wait, was he just teasing us or does he actually know?!" Ochako asked.
"I think he may of been teasing us… I mean, how would he even know?"
End of Chapter 1
I AM ALIVE! GOOD LORD HAVE I MISSED THIS! Ok, allow me to explain where the heck I have been. First of all, after I finished my previous job, I had actually started an internship that lasted pretty much the rest of my summer vacation. So once again, I was getting home late, and I was very tired, and only got weekends off. And even then, I have been struggling to get some inspiration to write out some stories. I wrote up the entire follow up for Zero Gravity Sickness, didn't like it at all, and I am now trying to re-write it. Also, Family Flames is coming along slowly, but I am hoping to get the next chapter out soon.
Another thing I want to address, on Tumblr there is a IzuOcha week coming up in November, and I think I am going to participate. I will try and write all the stories for that out in advance though, so I can get them out without any problems.
Also, I have a couple of idea's for stories in the future, including a Christmas theme one for Ochako's birthday, which will start on Christmas, and end on Ochako's birthday. I know, that is like, 3 months away, but I like to plan ahead!
Anyways, about this story. I actually got the idea on Iida's birthday, and was hoping to release it then… that didn't work out. I feel like no-one really thinks how Iida would feel if his two best friends ended up together, so I wanted to throw something about that together. Anyways, I hope to get the second chapter done tonight, and Family Flames should continue tomorrow. So see you next time for "A Talk."
