Uzamaki Naruto. He was just that type of person. He loved many things. He loved clouds and warm weather. He loved ramen and sunflowers. Most of all, he loved Sasuke.
Uchiha Sasuke. He was juat that kind of person. He hated many things. He hated girls and laughter. He hated people telling him what to do and his brother, Itachi. Most of all he hated his weakness.
Loving Naruto.
Naruto didn't expect much. He didn't expect friends or people to be nice to him. He didn't expect gifts and happiness. Most of all he didn't expect to fall in love with his teammate and rival, Sasuke.
Sasuke expected a lot. He expected people to praise him and people to love him. He expected to be strongest and to get his revenge. Most of all he exoected Naruto to love him back.
Naruto felt a lot. He felt pain and lonliness. He felt coldness and hunger. Most of all he felt like crying.
Sasuke felt nothing. He felt neither many emotions or warmth. He felt no love for his murderous brother and he didn't feel happiness since his family died. Most of all he didn't feel like living.
Naruto didn't know. He didn't know how it happened. How Sasuke ended up in his arms pale and lifeless. How the kunai ended up lodged in his heart. He didn't know why. Why the only person he truly cared for ended his life.
Sasuke knew. He knew what he was doing when he pierced his own heart, the heart that loves Naruto so much, with his kunai. He knew he was going to die. He also knew Naruto didn't love him.
At least……..he thought he knew.
