Summary: Rin has been traveling with Sesshormaru for 9 years and wants to do the impossible: Make the ice lord smile!! Sesshy/Rin.
Welcome to my suck ass attempted at a Sesshy/Rin oneshot!! Just so u know, I suck at oneshots!!!
Story: "Lord Sesshormaru?" asked 16-year-old Rin, "Why don't you ever smile?"
"Lord Sesshormaru has no need for emotions!" exclaimed Jaken
"But everyone needs emotions."
"Insolent human!!"
"I betcha I can make milord smile!" exclaimed Rin happily running up next to Sesshormaru. "Milord, can I tell you a joke?"
"If it'll please you, Rin."
"Ok…um, ok, knock, knock."
"-Sigh- who's there?" asked Sesshy having gone though these kinds of joke from the kit that traveled with his half-brother.
"Banana."
"Banana who?"
"Knock, knock."
"Who's there."
"Banana."
"Banana who?"
"Knock, knock."
"-Growl- who's there?"
"Orange."
"Orange who?"
"Orange you glad I didn't say banana!"
"Very funny, Rin." Sighed Sesshy. He really didn't find it funny, but he knew Rin would be sad if he didn't.
Later
Rin had come up with nothing else to try and make Sesshormaru smile, and she had tried 20 times in the last 6 hours! 'Why won't he smile?' she thought. She stood up thinking that a walk would make her think better. Unknown to her, our favorite ice-lord saw her.
'This Sesshormaru wonders where Rin is going.' He thought. Sesshy stood up and followed her unseen. Rin walked to the edge of a bank on a river they were near.
"Maybe Master Jaken was right? Maybe Lord Sesshormaru just won't smile…" 'So that's it, is?' thought Sesshy. He smirked (not smiled, smirked there is a deference). Sesshy walked out and behind Rin.
"Maybe Jaken was right about what? That this Sesshormaru never smiles?" asked Sesshy scaring Rin, who fell back.
"O! Milord!! I didn't see you there!"
"So, all your antics today were to get this Sesshormaru to smile?"
"Y…yes, milord. I just wanted to prove to Master Jaken that you did need emotions no matter how strong you are. Are you mad at Rin?"
"No, I am not. But, this Sesshormaru bet's he can make you smile." Smirked Sesshy mimicking Rin's earlier words. He leaned down and kissed the teenage girl. When they broke apart both had large smiles on their faces. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, "This Sesshormaru loves you, Rin."
"-Gasp- I love you too!"
