Misty sighed and trudged through a messy house until she reached the nearest couch to collapse onto. She grunted at the moment she hit the soft cushions and then screamed into her pillow. When she was finished, she rolled onto her back and sighed for like the third time in five minutes. "Fuuuuuuuck!" was all she could say.

She picked up her day planner, and open it up to the page for today. It read, "get out of the house!" Unfortunately, that's not what happened. As if the universe was conspiring against her, a series of newbie trainers showed up on her front door and challenged her one at a time again, and again, and again. She didn't know how long she had been battling for time but judging by how the sun was setting, it must have been several hours.

She breathed again and sat up. She suddenly found herself face-to-face with Pikachu. "Pikachupi?"

"AH!" He yelped. Footsteps to be heard getting closer until Ash skidded to a stop to find the two very shocked and surprised.

"What happened?"

"Where did you to come from?" she asked.

"The bathroom?" Ash replied.

"Are you being dense or sarcastic?" Misty asked.

"Uuuuuuuhhhhh, how was I being sarcastic?"

"I don't have time for this," she grumbled. "What are you doing here?"

"Visiting!" He said. "I missed you!"

"Thanks," she said unhappily.

"Are you upset?" He asked.

She had already laid down bat on the couch, but his question made her sit up and glare at him. "Are you really that dense?" She asked with the indignance dripping from her teeth.

"Hey, take it easy!" He was just as unhappy as she was, even showing her the key she game him so he could waltz in any time he wanted. Then, a thought popped in his head he could definitely see that she was stressed. A crazy idea popped in his head. "You need to take it easy!" He announced.

She wasn't amused by his seemingly tone-deaf suggestion, so she sat up and was about to shout at him to leave, but he kept talking. "How about we do something fun?" he asked.

"Like what?" She asked.

"We could go skinny-dipping!"

Her jaw dropped. "What?"

"Open up the gym and we could go skinny-dipping!" He repeated.

"Are you nuts?"

"No," he said. "We are young adults, Misty! We should enjoy it while we can and have some fun!"

"But not the gym," she said.

He opened his mouth to reply, but nothing came out. So he thought about it. "How about at the Cerulean Cape?" He asked.

This time, she hopped off the couch, ran up to him, threw her arms around his neck and kissed him. "I'll get the car!" She said. "No, wait, let's just go right now!"

He pumped his fist and followed her out the door. It was afternoon, but it was still nice and warm. Perfect weather for skinny-dipping! He followed her into the car and they drove off.

Several hours later, they both sat on the beach, completely naked, wearing nothing but bright big smiles on their lips. "This was a great idea, Ash," she said. "I needed to relax."

"Maybe we could do a little more than just skinny-dipping," he laughed with a big grin on his lips.

"Don't get ahead of yourself," she replied. "But thanks anyway. I feel so much better!"

"You're welcome!" He said before kissing her cheek.
