Chapter 1

Blaine Anderson sits in the great hall. Another year at Hogwarts and it's not getting any better. Blaine just broke up with his boyfriend after 2 years of love. Or at least he thought it was love. Seeing him now across the room made him realize how perfect for Slytherin, Kurt Hummel is. Sly, deceitful and a heartbreaker. Shit. Blaine swears under his breath. How could he have been so blinded? Kurt had been controlling him on the very first date. And they've been bickering ever since. Yet, Blaine could not find it in his heart to hate him, for deep down, he still loved that sluggish bad boy. But, he couldn't forgive him either. Kurt looked his way and Blaine managed a weak smile. Their break-up had been full of remorse. Kurt acted like he didn't care all week. And Blaine, well... he spent most of his nights writing depressing love poems. Well, at least that's over now. Blaine thought to himself. It's a new year at Hogwarts and I'm dead set on moving on this year. At least that's what he thought.

The sound of Professor Dumbledore's voice woke him from his reverie.

Now we're all settled in and sorted,

I'd like to make an announcement. This

castle will not only be your home this

year but home to some very special guests

as well. You see Hogwarts has been chosen to host

a legendary event. The Tri-Wizard tournament.

Murmurs from the crowd erupted. Even Blaine himself could not believe his ears. What an opportunity this is! Finally, something to occupy his mind for a little while. Professor Dumbledore continues his speech.

Now for those of you who do not know,

the tri-wizard tournament brings together

three schools for a series of magical

contests. From each school a single

contestant is selected to compete. Now

let me be clear, if chosen you stand

alone. And trust me when I say these

contests are not for the faint hearted,

but more of that later. For now please

join me in welcoming the lovely ladies

of the Beauxbatons Academy of magic

and their headmistress Madam Maxime.

Almost immediately, all heads turned towards the door to see the much awaited visitors. A group of girls dressed in blue dance up the aisle and release butterflies into the air. Their entrance made every boy gape and every girl roll their eyes. Following them was a freakishly tall woman. But all these were a mere blur to Blaine Anderson because his eyes were fixed on a tall, blond, beautiful young girl. She seems to be their leader and for some reason Blaine couldn't stop wondering about her. Filled with a new drive he hadn't felt since Kurt, he desperately wanted to know her name. The girls finish their dance and take a bow. The whole school naturally, burst into applause. The next guests are the gentlemen of Durmstrang. Even if, Blaine found them quite amusing with their sticks and fire, he'd still give all the Gryffindor points to the Beauxbaton girls. He never felt this way before, not with a girl anyway. And this new profound curiousity towards "Miss Beauxbaton" made him question his sexuality. It's not the first time Blaine had this issue. He actually had them ever since starting at Hogwarts. But his questions were answered when he fell in love with a boy named Kurt. Now, this feeling towards "Miss Beauxbaton" made him think again. Could this be love?

The dinner then continued with Professor Dumbledore saying something about eternal glory. Then, the Triwizard Cup was unveiled. It was truly magnificent. It was an exciting event, Blaine didn't even frown when it was announced only seventh year students are allowed to participate. Blaine couldn't care less about joining the tournament. He left the hall in such high spirits, remarkably different from when he entered it earlier this evening.
