He isn't a romantic, and yet when he sees her asleep on his shoulder, he knows that she is the only girl for him.
He knows, in this one single moment, that he is in love.
And this was not something he had planned.
Of course, his mother- hell, even his boss- had told him that it would happen to him someday, but he hadn't believed them. He had scoffed at their remarks, told them they were wrong.
But he can't help but think now how wrong he was. Because he knows now how much he loves her, and how much he will always love her.
So when she wakes up, he'll pop the question.
And if she says yes, then everyone will know just how mistaken he was before. Everyone will know that she is the only one for him and he's finally ready to take that leap.
So he can't wait for her to get up.
