"Where do you think you are going?"

"Outside!"

"You plan on going outside like that?"

"Whaddya mean?"

"You are not wearing anything warm. I am not letting you go outside until you put on a hat, a jacket, pants..."

"Aw... No fair!"

"It is completely fair. I am not having you get ill. Now go."

Shaking his head, Critias watched the little one pout as he climbed his way back up the stairs to his room to put warmer clothes on. He definitely did act like Timaeus at times, there was no mistaking that. But it appeared he enjoyed getting up early as he did-something Timaeus rarely would do, even if it was snowing. And with that, Critias felt he should at least wake him up so they could watch their son play in the snow. It was his first winter after all.

Critias shook his head once more with a smile before heading up the stairs. He made it to the top before he overheard some mumbling, and upon further inspection he saw Timaeus attempting to get Ereon into a jacket.

"You said you wanted to go outside... Critias is not going to let you out if you do not look warm."

"But I am warm!"

"Just put it on..."

Suppressing a laugh, he moved away from the door and went back downstairs to the kitchen. He was slightly surprised to see Timaeus awake, but was secretly grateful he was the one trying to get Ereon into clothes and not him. Before too long, Critias heard the noise of feet shuffling down the stairs and the sight of Ereon in the kitchen. Timaeus must have had some luck, because here he was wearing mittens, a hat, a jacket, and among other warm-looking clothes. With a nod that said it was alright, Ereon was out the door and running around in the snow.

"He is stubborn like someone I know."

"Timaeus, surely you do not mean me. I know you, and you would be out there as well without any clothes like he would have."

"...Well, I suppose that is true. He does have your stubbornness, though. Getting him into those clothes was harder than I thought..."

"At least he knows not that he will not be going outside unless he is wearing that. On another note, did you make that hat and the mittens? I do not remember buying those."

"Mmm. I did. Since you are not a fan of my sweaters, I would try to get Ereon to wear some clothes that I made. So far, it has been a success."

Critias laughed. Of course Timaeus would bring up the sweaters. The one Timaeus had made him just was... too much, in his opinion. He felt bad, because Timaeus had taken the time to make it for him... He still did, even if that had been some years ago.

While thinking, he had not realized Timaeus brought some things over to prepare and was doing so until he glanced over at him.

"I think... I will help you with breakfast."

"Thank you. I am sure he will be back in soon complaining about being cold and saying something about being hungry. That sounds like someone I know too."
