Chapter One
I was walking. Aimlessly. I didn't know where I was. I just remember my village. Chinokagure. Village Hidden In Blood. All of the ninjas were assassins. Where are my manners? I'm sorry. My name is- well I'll tell you later, for now you can call me Tenshi no Shi. Or Angel Of Death. My father was the Chikage. I'm 22 years old and I never hd a boyfriend. I have had lots of friends but no boys in my village caught my eyes. I stand at 5' 6'' and I have an hourglass figure. My father told me to run and never look back. And I did. I ran away from my village that is no more and not once did I took back. I couldn't. Not if I wanted them to find me and kill me. I was looking for Konohagure. Village Hidden In The Leaves. The Hokage knew my father and he knows me.
After walking for days maybe, I found the village. I walked straight through and everyone stopped and stared at me. I couldn't care less. I needed to see the Hokage. I wear a mask so that you cannot see my face. It was my assassin mask. I was still in my uniform. I had my headband on me proudly. Everyone was whispering about my headband , looks and everything that they could. How pathetic. Honestly, what is wrong with civilians and new ninjas? I finally got to the Hokage Tower and walked in.
"Ma'am, you can't go in there!" It was futile. I can go where I want. I am not going to stop for a little civilian. And that's what happened. I kept walking and kept ignoring the civilian. I knocked on the door .
"Come in. Tenshi no Shi."
I walked in and everyone stopped talking. Stopped moving. Stopped everything. They were all looking at me.
I walked up to the hokage's desk, and bowed from the waist. I stood back up and even though, they couldn't see my face, I had a smirk and a glint on my face.
"Hello Hizuren. Long time no see."
"My words exactly Tenshi no Shi. I am sorry fro your loss."
"It doesn't matter about my loss. I am here am I not?"
"Yes yes. You are here. You know, you can become the new Chikage. You are the only survivor."
"I can't become a Kage without a village Hizuren. You know that. I want to become a Konoha nin. I hear that you have a tailed beast locked away in Konoha. Don't worry, i don't have a use for a tailed beast."
"Yes. We do have a jinchuuriki in Konoha. Every well. You are a Konoha nin then. Here is your headband."
Cries of outrage and disbelief was heard in the entire office.
"Lord Hokage! You can't be serious! Do you know what that woman can even do? Who is she to begin with?"
"May I Lord hokage?"
He nodded. That was all I needed. Instantly, I was behind the fool who spoke so ill of me and had my katana at his throat.
I spoke in a dark voice.
"How dare you question my skills! How dare you question your own Hokage! You are incompetent and you disgust me. I could kill you in an instant you know? There is a reason why I am called 'Tenshi no Shi' and 'Kage Shi'. Who the hell are you to question things beyond your incompetent mind?"
Everyone was pale in the face. Especially the male that was at the end of my katana. Suddenly, Hizuren started to laugh. Everyone was just looking at him shocked. I looked at him.
"What is it Hizuren-san?"
"I think that it is funny that Tenshi no Shi has her katana -the same one that has shed the blood of thousands- at the throat of Genma. Keep your mouth shut Genma, she may look like someone who can't kill a fly, but she probably has killed more than you or I ever has. She is an assassin. "
I smirked. He does have a valid point. I make a living off of killing people. It's my job.
