This is a bit OOC. Please don't kill me. But if you do, please make my end as creative as possible. Thank you.
Despite popular belief, Hibari Kyoya was not a heartless monster. He did feel. He did know what it was like to feel affection for something. That something just usually wasn't other human beings.
He loved three things. He loved Namimori. He loved Namimori middle school. And he loved small animals.
Not just any small animal, though. He loved the ones that looked cute, but behind the fluffiness and the adorableness, there was a fire, there were claws. Which led him to his current situation.
He was currently on a free branch looking into Sawada Tsunako's window.
Why you ask? Because she was one of those small animals.
Unbeknownst to everyone at Nami-chuu, he labeled all of the herbivores with their respective animals. Yamamoto Takeshi and Gokudera Hayato were both puppies. Sasawaga Ryohei was a bear cub. Sasawaga Kyoko was a bunny. Kurokawa Hana was an owl. He knew what everyone was. He had them all classified. He had it down to a science, even comparing their traits to those of their respective animals. He knew all.
He had thought that Sawada Tsunako would be another bunny. She was small and cute and fluffy, skittish and weak. But then, he saw her fight. He saw her brutally crush her enemies. He saw her claws.
He immediately went to work. He looked and researched and studied. He looked for animals that were just that, cute and skittish and weak, along with being strong and fierce. He found nothing. She was a mystery.
So here he was, perched outside of her window, trying to figure her out. She acted so weak. He almost left. Why was he doing this anyways? Why did he care about this herbivorous girl, with her soft brown hair and her deep brown eyes? Why did he care?
He stayed anyways, still getting no answer. After she went to sleep, he went home, still puzzling over her strange behavior.
He called her to his office the next day. She came in, all wide trusting eyes and cautious smiles. "Hello, Hibari-san. Why did you call me here?"
He looked her up and down, looking so delectable in the Namimori middle school uniform. He didn't know how to address her. Can he even call her an herbivore?
"Sit down, Sawada Tsunako."
She does. He looks her over again. She's all of the things he admires rolled into one. She's from Namimori. She's in the Nami-chuu uniform. She was a strong small animal. An omnivore, he realizes.
"Hibari-san, what's wrong?"
Before she can say anything else, he leans forward and catches her lips in a chaste kiss. He pulls back after a few seconds, still only inches from her face. He looks at her blush, her puzzled eyes, her pink lips. He smirks. "See me after school." It's an order.
She doesn't question him, instead rising from her seat. "Sure Hibari-san. I don't have anywhere to be."
He realizes that she's challenging him. Saying that she's only going because she doesn't have plans. How omnivorous of her.
"You are dismissed, Omnivore."
She doesn't say another word, instead turning on her heel and striding confidently out of the door.
He smiles. He has a date with an omnivore tonight.
