A/N: This is a short Carly/Jason story. I wrote it in about 15 min., so if it REALLY sucks, who cares?!
I don't! But, when you reveiw, please tell me what you really thought. If I should add more, keep writing stories, yadda yadda yadda....
Get the point? Also, just remeber this is my first *PUBLISHED* fanfic.
Thanks! Ali

*I couldn't do it. Not anymore. I walked into the penthouse, and saw my husband.

"Hey Carly." he said.

"Hi, Jase. Can we talk?" I asked.

"Sure. What about?"

I sat down, and looked into his eyes. The love I once felt wasn't there.

"Look, I'm not happy." I started, but he interrupted me.

"What do you want? I'll give you anything." he said.

"That's the problem. You'll give me anything, but you don't want anything in return. I'm not as selfish as

people think!" I cry out.

"Car, what's wrong?"

"We are! You still love Robin. You have put Robin and Elizabeth on a pedestal. I have to live up to them.

And I don't, and it hurts you. Go find Robin. You'll thank me in 10 years. I love you, Jase, but I'm not in love

with you." I said.

"Car, I love---"

"No, you don't. Go find her." I said, regretting it, but I knew it was the right thing to do.

I had gone after Jason because I couldn't have him. I had won, too. Robin Scorpio hadn't stood a chance

against me.

That's the problem. After she went back to Paris, Jase hadn't been the same. He was withdrawn from things.

His eyes never lit up the same way.

I knew I wasn't in love with him, either. I wanted to be Carly Benson, not Carly Morgan. My mother had

known who my father is, and she just recently told me.

My father is Stefan Cassadine. I have to get used to a whole new family.

In the end, things will be fine. At the moment, they aren't, though. But, the grass is always greener on the

other side....*
