Percy's POV
It's official now.
One minute we're holding hands, walking in the freezing cold in Central Park. The next I'm down on one knee and Annabeth's hands are covering her mouth, her eyes shining.
My heart's pounding, oh gods what if she says no.
She nods yes and I get to be proud for striking my fiancé speechless for the second time ever.
"Yes, yes." It comes out hoarse and quiet.
The next minute her arms are around me and we stand there, grinning like idiots and holding each other in the cold December air.
There's a surety between us. There has been since the Titan war. Since tartarus. Percy&Annabeth. Annabeth&Percy. Its just that simple, but some how complicated. But I do know that when she says yes she means it. And years from now we'll still be holding hands across tables and walking around the city together. She'll be drinking fizzy water and I'll be drinking coke. She'll always be smart and beautiful and I'll always be Seaweed Brain. Most importantly, I think sliding the ring onto her finger, we'll always be together and that alone is enough.
