Summary: Piper's point of view on her pregnancy.
"When I saw that beautiful happy little girl of mine in the future I was amazed. Amazed that I would even have a daughter so perfect as she was, let alone that I had that miracle with Leo.
So when I found out I couldn't bare children I was heartbroken. There went mine and Leo's dreams of having a baby. They were destroyed in one fell swoop. I cried the night I found out. I cried for our hopes lost and my Melinda that would never be.
The day that the Angel of Destiny came I did not expect him to tell us what he did. Not that I understood it at the time. Although Phoebe was kind enough to explain to me what he meant, while jumping up and down. When she burst out that I was pregnant my hear skipped a beat. I couldn't believe it. My prayers were answered. Within seconds both my sisters were hugging me and saying their congradulations.
When time unfroze Leo had to adjust to the scene. The look on his face was priceless. He had no idea why my sisters and I were acting the way we did. Leo had no idea what was going on. As soon as my rambunctious sisters realized this they backed up and quieted down. Both with excited smiles plastered on their faces.
I walked to Leo slowly. He could tell that I had good news by the way I was smiling. I told him we were still The Charmed Ones, quickly adding that that was a good thing. Asking why, I answered him. Taking his hand and placing it on my stomach I replied that I would need my powers to protect our new addition.
It took him less than a second to realize I was pregnant. That's the beauty of having someone like Leo to be your husband, they understand what you mean perfectly. Needless to say he took me, and out unborn child, into his comforting arms and kissed me.
That was seven months ago. Since then I have become a blimp and the baby's room is on it's way. We cleaned out Grams's old room and ripped down the dingy wallpaper and added new carpeting. Paige handled the painting of the room. Sky blue walls with murals on each wall. Unicorns, dragons, fairies, and other fairy-tale beasts decorate my little girl's bedroom. Along with clouds and a sun on the ceiling. Leave it to Paige to add a little Fung- Shui. Leo and I bought the furniture, all in sky blue to match the wall.
Phoebe picked out toys for Melinda. She bought mounds of stuffed animals. Rabbits, frogs, bears, puppies, kittens, you name it, she bought it. Somehow she managed to buy a huge stuffed bear. The toy it larger than me. It wouldn't fit into through the doorway, so Leo had to orb it with him into the room.
All that is left now is to wait for my dear Melinda to enter this world. I sometimes still can't believe that this is really happening. That I am this lucky to have such a wonderful husband and family. My dreams of having my own little family are coming true. I simply can't wait to hold my precious bundle of joy in my arms for the first time. And I know Leo is thinking the same."
