DISCLAIMER: I do not own Revolutionary Girl Utena or anything relating to it. Not even a poster.

A/N: This is for Luna-Moonberry-Lovegood, who requested that I post stories in the first place. I couldn't find anything old, so this is unrevised and new and short. Sorry. It takes place near the end of the duels, before Touga's final duel with Utena. I apologize if he's out of character, I've never been very good with him. But I hope you enjoy it, and when you're done reading please review!

The power of Dios.

I thought it over in my head as I recalled watching it manifest for what seemed like both the first and the millionth time in a naive girl with bubble-gum hair struggling to save the drags of her nobility.

The power of Dios.

So long I had been waiting for it, planning each move by the side of Ends of the World, bowing my head to him as I peered up with intention. Now my time to act had come, and I was doubting myself.

The strength of my desire for revolution was still resolute, yet it had changed form. I was no longer interested in myself. My new aim was found by accident, but when I watched her fight I knew that it was the only way.

I had to bring revolution to this girl. She tries so hard and yet the world plays her like well tuned piano, singing so sweetly and with such vibrations, but only to his will. I do believe in her. She is the one. She is the only way. And yet how can it be, when this is how he'd written it from the start? I fear too much for her, that he will corrupt her, and that she will fall to be yet again just another girl. But I suppose that is what I want as well. But not for him. If she is to hand in her sword to be a princess, it should be for me. However, in this game of his, he is the winner. He is the knight in shinging armor. And for this I hate him.

I will fight against her, I will try to stop her, to win her, to save her. But if I do not win... I wish her luck. I wish her a shining thing, and the power of miracles, and eternity, and the power to revolutionize the world. For nothing is more beautiful that this prince battling for her princess, rising to the power of Dios.
