LAUGH
It was a sickness. It was an insane cry for help. It was a screwup of catastrophic proportions. It was a laugh. A laugh generated by the most feared criminal Woodsboro ever saw. If you ever mentioned the name Sidney Prescott, one of the townspeople would always jump in fear. The reason for this is that no citizen of Woodsboro ever did as much as Sidney did. Whether it was robbing a bank, blowing up a house, killing teenagers, coming up with dangerous jokes that kill, or just acting speriodically.
Sidney Prescott first laughed like that after she found her mother murdered. She then proceeded to take a knife and cut her face into a permanent smile, She cut her lips off and drove the knife into both cheeks. The result was a permanent smile and a stint in a mental hospital so she could come to terms with her mothers death. The cops were still looking for the killer.
After several months the cops came up with nothing and charged Sidney. She was found guily of her mothers murder and at the trial she laughed for the second time. It chilled many people to the bone. She was given life in prison with no possibility for parole. They took her to prison where she was still smiling.
The real killers, Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, were terrified. They were terrified for two reasons. One because Sidney saw them which was why she laughed and made herself smile. Two, was because they knew that there was no way she would sit in prison while they were free.
Tatum Riley got some new friends and left "the freaking psychopath" behind her.
Gale Weathers knew Sidney could have never killed her mother. She tried and tried to get Sidney to talk to her but to no avail. So she came up with a plan.
Dewey Riley knew that Sidney would never kill her mother also. He offered to help Gale break her out.
Gale accepted.
Two months later, A breakout happened at the California correctional facility, a breakout that included 15 dead guards, 456 escaped inmates, and one overjoyed smiling person.
Randy Meeks was working at the video store when he was acosted by the overjoyed smiling person. Randy smiled. His life had just gotten much interesting.
