Dana Grayson sighed happily, it was Valentine's Day and she had plenty to be happy about. It was three years since the rangers had defeated Queen Bansheera and her evil forces. She had a great job, friends, her father and brother. And most important of all her husband Carter.
It still seemed like a dream, after they were no longer rangers Carter had left but they stayed in touch. But she missed him and wished he was around all the time. A few months later Joel and Angela Fairweather got married and Carter returned for the wedding.
It was that one week that changed everything and after the wedding, Carter admitted his feelings for her and they began to date. Within six months they were engaged and had gotten married soon after.
Now it was a year later and Dana couldn't believe how happy she was just then her husband walked in hands behind his back. "A gift for the love of my life."
Dana gasped as she opened the box and a calico kitten came out, "Carter you said you couldn't find one."
He smiled his boyish grin, "that was last month I wanted it to be a surprise."
Dana put her arms around him, "I have a gift for you but you'll have to wait about seven months." She put one of his hands on her stomach, waiting for him to get the hint.
Carter's mouth dropped open, "you mean you're?"
She nodded yes and he hugged her gently, "wow a baby?"
She giggled, "Looks like you're not the only sneak in the family."
He kissed her, "you're so forgiven."
Dana sighed as she was nestled in his arms, "happy Valentine's Day Carter."
"Happy Valentine's Day Dana."
