A/N: Hello again, guys!
I think I really need to stop going MIA for long periods of time.
But anyways, I've decided to re-start writing fanfics, and I'll start with some drabbles. As you might know, this is a repost from when I had a few drabbles all under one story titled 'Snapshots'. I'll start posting those ones first and then get on to others.
And if you want to know what's coming up next in terms of fanfics, at the very bottom of my profile I have a section called 'Coming Up Soon/Works In Progress'. Just sayin'.
This drabble's based off of deviant-art artist *burdge-bug's drawing called "Joy". Search it up! Type in "joy by burdge-bug" and click the first non-ad link.
Disclaimer: I don't own the wonderful world of Harry Potter, no matter how much I want to. I have to affiliation to either J.K. Rowling or Bloomsbury.

Post-DH Harry/Ginny: Joy
Ginny drummed her fingers on the tabletop nervously. Honestly, she had every right to be nervous because in her right hand was a Muggle pregnancy test-and it read positive.
She sighed. The one time- one time, mind you- that she said, "Screw the bloody charm!"
Because her wand was just too far away and Harry had just come home from a month long Auror mission, she just had to get knocked up.
Wonderful.
It wasn't as if the little witch or wizard growing inside her was to be a love child or anything. She's been Ginny Potter for just over a year now, and the little bugger would be well cared for and they'd taken care of Teddy while he was a baby so the kid wouldn't grow up traumatized and financially, they could support him/her/it-
Stop it, Ginny, she told herself. Stop over thinking things. Stop being a Hermione.
There was the sound of a key turning in the front door's lock and Ginny bolted straight up, hastily shoving the test into the back pocket of her denims.
The door swung open with a creak and Ginny's husband walked in, hair tousled. "Hey, Gin," He greeted her easily, walking over to her and kissing her cheek.
Harry looked at Ginny properly then, and he seemed to notice something was off because his beautiful eyes became concerned.
"Is something the matter?" He asked, cupping her face with one hand. "What's going on? Is everything okay?"
Ginny was about to roll her eyes; her husband was such a worrier. It had been 5 years after the war, yet he still acted like the world was still ruled by Voldywart (nickname courtesy of George).
She settled for a snort instead, and placed a hand on Harry's chest. "Yes," She told him, smiling slightly. "It's just that… Harry, I'm pregnant."
The raven-haired man in front of her recoiled with shock. "R-really?"
Ginny nodded, and suddenly she found herself being whirled around in the air.
"Harry!" She gasped. "Put me down!"
He did so, and smiled excitedly at her like Ron on a sugar rush. "Sorry, love," Harry apologized quickly hugging her tightly to him. "But really? When? How do you know? This is amazing! Does anyone else know? When are we going to tell your family? Is it a boy or girl? How long have you known? Merlin, I love you!"
Ginny laughed. "One question at a time, Potter."
Harry nodded happily. "Okay!" He agreed cheerfully, bouncing slightly. "How do you know?"
Oh, this'll be a long day.
Hint: I like reviews ;)
Until next time,
