Acho-oo!

Marinette let the loudest sneeze of them all. She's been sick in bed for days and she was starting to get antsy. She wasn't allowed to leave her room or her dad would have sat on her.

Luckily Hawkmoth hasn't been busy, she thought. No you idiot don't jinx it!

And from that moment she didn't think anymore, she just sat there and stared at her ceiling. She felt exhausted but she couldn't sleep either, her nerves were shot. Her senses were heightened, which was so weird.

She glanced at her design book on her desk. It was all the way across the room which was just too far.

She coughed those disgusting phlegm-y coughs that sound disgusting and the door opened.

She nearly went into cardiac arrest seeing Adrien stand there with a sheepish look on his face. But the coughing fit just got worse.

How can a person have so much mucus in their system, she thought.

How attractive.

Adrien looked concerned, "Should I get you some water?" He asked.

Marinette quickly nodded, needing more time to collect herself at his surprise appearance. She stopped coughing but her throat and lungs burnt.

When Adrien finally came back with the water she grasped in relief. She took three gulps of water and cleared her throat.

"What are you doing here?" She asked with her voice in a bit of a rasp. She was too tired to act like a love sick puppy.

"Umm," Adrien scratched the back of his neck, "Alya told me you weren't doing too well and I thought this chicken soup would make you feel better."

I'm going too kill Alya.

He brought me chicken soup.

Squeal!!

Cue the blush.

She didn't have to look in the mirror to see her obviously darkened cheeks, "Thanks," she murmured.

"What was that?" He asked with a mischievous smile. In all honest he loved the way her raspy voice sounded.

She looked at her lap, "Thanks." She said in a louder voice.

"You are welcome."

He walked closer to her bed with the soup in his hands. He keeled down in front of her and placed the warm soup in her lap.

She smiled.

It made his heart melt.

She pushed a stray hair away from her face.

His stomach was filled with butterflies.

She sniffed.

He felt light-headed.

He looked at her closely. Her crazy bed-head, her eyes droopy with sleep and a nose like Rudolph.

"Thanks, again," she nearly whispered.

"You're welcome," he said softly.

She watched as he stood up and left.

He turned back to look at her.

He didn't want to leave, but he did. He would see her again.

"Bye Princess."

And he was gone.
