AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This, while my second time publishing a poem.
I would appreciate constructive criticism but this is kind of in vain, since people rarely read poetry on this site.
Ok, those rare few gems of readers, you can pretend that it's Daco's POV or even Hermione's.
And, by the way, I've absolutely no training or specific education on poetic structure or anything like that, so if it 'doth not rhyme', see if I care! :-)
Read, Read, Re-read, and review!
All authors love reviews, even one-worded reviews!

p.S: R&R
Years Gone
Unblemished skin and Invisible wrinkles,
Abundant love and Overflowing trust,
Unflinching touch and Blind following,
All years gone.
I'd hate to rain on
Your glorious parade,
But I hate your bouncing back more, unaffected.
One day,
The world is crumbling,
Shouts, screams, insults flung both ways,
In a way, did we not do our dirty laundry in public?
The fragile porcelain friendship is shattered,
We went our own ways giving up on our friendship,
Looked up the cloudy sky and prayed for a safe harbour,
Shared that last look of defeat,
After all, we did always understand the other.
Rather unfortunate that we were communicating a loss,
They used to be looks of victory and joy,
As fierce as thunder,
As happy as an orange fire burning away happily.
Then it was a look of shared loss,
A smile of sadness to mourn the years gone by.
Years gone by,
Serene I stand, awaiting to greet a new day,
After a long sunset,
Realising that we, humans,
Are but doves looking for an anchor,
To celebrate life and accept the years gone.
Author's Note:
Was it any good?
Did someone, anyone(Woo-hoo, anyone there?!), like it?
Review and let me know!
Oh, and flames are great for marshmallows, which I love by the way!
So, flamers, do your best!

p.S: ... Uhh, review?
