Gato then continues to poke at Haku's lifeless body only taunting Zabuza

"I feel content this is the way it ends," Zabuza says as he rips off the bandages and wraps across his mouth with his teeth as his hands and arms are out of commission thanks to Kakashi "Well cat got your tongue? Are you surprised that I'm human? Even ninja are human no matter how hard we try to escape that simple fact we always fail… well… at least I have failed"

Naruto's tears were still on his face even after he stopped crying because of Zabuza and Haku

"Boy! Give me your kunai," Zabuza said to the leaf genin as he tossed him a kunai from his pouch and Zabuza caught it in his teeth and in a second he dashed towards Gato who was now hiding behind his henchmen

And like a man on a mission, he fulfilled his desire of killing Gato even by taking multiple stabs and hits along the way

Zabuza wobbled his way over to Haku's body with the assistance of Kakashi was able to lay by Haku's side

Snow started to fall, Zabuza looked at Haku's body in sadness and the leaf ninja left as he wondered if he could go to the place where Haku had gone

But he noticed something off with the body, his suspicions were only verified when three mist ninja stood above him one of which was Haku!?

"What?!"

"Your mission isn't over yet Zabuza," One ninja said to him as the other he didn't recognize begun to heal him with medical jutsu

"How?" Zabuza said mostly to his young partner

"When I got hit with Kakashi's jutsu, after I was sat down these two substituted me with a water clone transformation of me and healed me away from here" Haku explained as the clone dispersed into water "It was during the shock of my supposed death, the battle between you and Kakashi, the mist you created, and the other leaf ninja being not close to me never noticed the swap"

"So I assume you heard everything," Zabuza said as he was speaking about Haku and himself as if he was going to die and ready to die

"Yes" Haku answered holding the place where Kakashi stabbed him not in pain but as a reminder

"We should get going," The female ninja that Zabuza didn't recognize by face but who was healing him said as the other male shook his head in agreement

"Go where?" Zabuza said now getting enough strength and movement in his arms to sit up straight

"To Mei and the rest of the resistance," The female ninja said "We still need to win back the hidden mist village! Remember Zabuza?"

"What happened to the old man leading?" Zabuza asked as his whole goal of earning money by working with thugs like Gato was for the takeover of the hidden mist

"Dead, the new leader Mei is now in charge and wants all possible away missions to regroup at our new base including you," The female ninja said

"Who are you?" Haku asked

"We're part of the resistance" the female ninja answered

"But you couldn't be older than Haku how did you get grouped into this?" Zabuza asked as he now stood up grabbing his sword

"Long story… I'm Emi and this is my best friend Shin and we have less than a month before we start the coup to take down Yagura" Emi said
