The goose flapped his wings. He had finally arrived at the Jade Palace. He had come all the way from Japan with a letter for Master Crane. He had no idea what it was about, only that he was supposed to give it to Master Crane, and Master Crane ONLY.

"HEYAAAA!" Po yelled as he splintered the wooden dummy. Nothing exciting had happened for a month now, and he was finding it hard to keep up his training. Why did they need to train if there weren't any bad guys?

"Good work, Po." Said a voice behind him. Po whipped round to find Master Shifu standing behind him. "I know you're finding it hard to keep up your training," Shifu continued,"But it is essential we are ready for action at any time." Po groaned he had heard this speech many times before. "But nothing exciting has happened for weeks! We're all bored!" "Even Tigress!" He added, whispering into Master Shifu's ear. Shifu sighed. "Sometimes, Po, boredom can be a blessing. But then, so can the excitement of a battle I suppose. However, when you have seen as much battle as me, you start to get bored of that as well." He then walked off, leaving Po to take in his words of wisdom.

Two days later the letter came. A messenger goose arrived, yelling "Message for Master Crane!Urgent message for Master Crane!" Shifu, Po, and the Furious Five gathered in the courtyard. The messenger handed the letter to Crane, then took off. Crane opened the scroll and what was inside would change him forever. It read:

Master Crane,

I am Sensei Osamu, head of the Samurai School of Heavenly Wings in Japan. I wish for you to come here to continue your martial art training. If you accept my offer, then send me an acceptance letter and travel here as fast as you can. I feel you will fit in here, and I may be able to help you with something other than martial art…..

Hashira Osamu

Crane gasped. Had he just been invited to far off Japan? Had he? What was the other thing this sensei could help him with? What-

His thoughts were cut off by Master Shifu, who simply said "You should go." Crane looked at him in surprise. "B-but then the Five will be down one member. A-and maybe.." Shifu sighed. "Crane, we will be fine. I will help the Five and Po, and we haven't had any trouble with bandits lately." "Yeah. I mean, you've always been the least important member of the Five" Po sneered. Everyone looked at him. "Someone's jealous!" Viper said in a sing-song voice. Po glared at her. "What? We've been sitting around doing nothing for weeks, and suddenly Crane, CRANE gets to go to Japan and learn fancy Kung-Fu? Nuh uh. I ain't having it." Shifu sighed. "Po-" He started, but Crane cut in. "Po, you're a selfish, egotistical bastard who really needs to try and think if HE'S important to the Five at all sometimes" Crane said sharply, and stormed off. "Oh Po!" Viper groaned. "Now see what you've done. And he's about to go on a big journey." Po glared at the spot where Crane had just stood. "Like I care." He spat.

But really, he did.
