Memory of your smile

A short poem I made about death and implied one-sided love :) Note- this takes place in AU where after the boss battle with Ganondorf, Ganon posses Link's body. As said before, there is character death and one-sided love! DON'T LIKE? KINDLY GO AND READ SOMETHING ELSE. Oh and this mentions eventual cross-over between the Ocarina of Time Link and Twilight Princess world.

Your eyes gleamed
No longer was the deep blue sea
But now there was nothing but
evil.
I should have known
That something went wrong
I was too foolish
And now I pay the price
Your voice became
Scratchy
Deep
Menacing
I know that Link...
My Link
Never sounded like that.
But I know who did.
I now know
You defiled his soul
You slashed his mind with darkness
And now it seems
My Destiny has come
I know
Only the Great Hero can save you
It is too late for me.
My voice shot out as screams
And I fell to the ground
Blood pooled around me
Dirtying the sand
With a crimson glow
Just know that..
I..Twilight Princess...
No, as your friend..
I can still see that
flicker of light
Inside you
And that's enough for me to know
He can still save you.
And He will.
Just hold on
Until He comes
Just let me sleep
Just let me die
with the memory of your
Smile
