Disclaimer! I don't own Iron Man: Armored Adventures.

Just playing around with the characters. A collection of stories for my favorite ship!

Set several years after the end of their show, Gene having reconciled with at least Pepper.

Gene sighed, crossing his arms and leaning back against the wall. What a way to spend your weekend. Inside a tent with your girlfriend laying across your lap with playing on her DS. They were waiting to buy tickets to a movie. It was too cold for this nonsense. But it wasn't as if he was going to win an argument with Pepper.

And of course by 'weekend' he meant they'd be there until tomorrow. She had insisted they go see it on the opening day, and apparently half the Tomorrow Academy Graduates decided the same. They were relatively close to the front of the line, at least.

"I don't see why you didn't just let me preorder the tickets." He mumbled sourly, finding it hard to really get annoyed. It's not like he was opposed to spending time with Pepper, far from it. But he'd much rather be spending it somewhere with heating.

She rolled her eyes not looking up from her game. "Well I could have, but this is more fu-YES! TAKE THAT YOU HYPER POTION USING- Oh!" In her excitement at whatever she'd just accomplished in her game, Pepper had thrown her hands up and subsequently, punched him right in the jaw.

Now, anyone who'd ever been on the receiving end of the redheads right hook, knew it wasn't something to take lightly. His head snapped back in surprise, dazed for a minute by the absolute out of left field-ness of it.

"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, are you okay? Here let me see, you're okay right? I didn't like break your face or anything did I?" Pepper rambled in embarrassment, rolling off of him and turning his face towards her to lean in and inspect what was probably going to be an impressive bruise in the morning.

He rubbed his jaw experimentally, nodding. "I'll be fine." He waved off her concern. Still in a bit of shock over it. He readjusted his sunglasses from where they'd been knocked askew by the strike. "Remind me not to get on your bad side. Ever."

Pepper smiled in relief. "Yeah, sure." She hadn't moved her hand from his face. She leaned in to quickly kiss his jaw with an apologetic smile. "No hard feelings, right?"

Gene smiled back at her. "Absolutely none."
