I am in love with Gale Hawthorne.
I do not know how or when it happened. It just did. I fell in love with his brooding and depressive mood. His snappy statements. His penchant for killing things. His frowns. It was true love as soon as I met him. Our love is . . . . beautiful.
I went over to where he was currently brooding over missing a rabbit with his last arrow. Apparently, that rabbit meant life or death to him. He says it was my fault, and that he's going to bomb my sister now. Our love is absolutely terrific.
I pat his shoulder and he shrugs my hand off. I sigh and shake my head. "Gale, I think we've been in love long enough to come to this conclusion,"
He grunts and says nothing else. I nod, taking this as my chance to continue. I pull a syringe out of my pocket. "I've loved you a long time, Gale . . . It's time you loved me too," I smile a little, and his eyes land on the needle, widening slightly.
"W-what is that?"
"Oh, darling . . . you silly little child. You don't know?" I tap the syringe with my index finger. "You'll love me soon enough. Our love will be strong and true. No one will break it. Not after the treatment."
His eyes are still wide, never straying from the needle. "What kind of treatment?"
I gently pat his face. "Tracker jacker venom, you silly bomber. Hijacking has been proven to work . . . we'll be so happy."
"Wait, no, please—"
"Shhhhh . . ." I hold my finger to his lips. "No tears. Just happy dreams of our future." I smile devilishly before stabbing him in the neck with the needle.
I love Gale Hawthorne, and he will soon love me.
Thanks for reading! This is just a random one-shot I wrote because my best friend challenged me to write a fanfic where I was in love with Gale. I dislike Gale strongly, but none of this is meant to be taken seriously. It's just for laughter and shock.
After my best friend read it, she stopped for a moment and just went blank. Then she started laughing and asked to read it again. She's a big Gale fan.
So, yeah. Don't take this seriously. I'm just writing something so my followers don't forget I exist.
Thanks for reading! R&R. ~ K.L.
