The war publicity highlighted the intellectual brilliance of Hermione Granger to the point she had too many suitors, all intelligent accomplished men capable of capturing her affection.

Severus did not appreciate the witty conversation between the couple as they walked towards the Leaky Cauldron. Snape would curse himself before allowing a lowly healer to spoil his plans.

Once the couple was positioned, Severus opened the box of Peruvian Darkness Powder.

"Ouch! That hurt!" she yelled rubbing her pinched bottom, and then she felt something else, and suddenly spun slapping her date.

"That's one down," Severus thought smirking in the dark.
