DM New Clothes for Margo
''Margo what's happened to all your clothes?'' Gru demanded. ''What do you mean?'' Margo asked. ''Well your shirt is so small your stomach's hanging out''. ''My skirt feels tight around my waist too'' Margo admitted. ''Well den, you'd better go out shopping with Lucy today and get some new clothes dat fit you'' Gru replied.
So later that afternoon, Lucy and Margo headed off to Paradise Mall. Just then Lucy heard her mobile phone ring. ''Hi Lucy it's just me Gru'' her husband said with a panicked tone in his voice. ''De minions have been quite seriously injured in an accident with my vehicle, so they're going to de hospital in serval ambulances''.
Lucy couldn't believe it! That sounded really serious! She said goodbye and put her phone away. ''What's the matter?'' Margo asked, already knowing that it wasn't going to be good. ''The minions are in the hospital'' Lucy sighed. ''They're being treated right this minute, but when they get home. They'll need to rest, so that means we'll have to do extra work''.
''But that'll take ages!'' Margo protested. ''There's nothing else that we can do at all sweetie'' Lucy replied ''now then let's see what new clothes we can find for you''. In the first shop, Margo chose a red and yellow plaid skirt. Then in the next shop she tried on some new jackets until she settled on a dark pinky Purple jacket.
Finally in the last shop of all, Margo tried on a sky blue shirt. She decided she liked it straight away. When they got home. Margo went try on her new clothes. She looked at herself in the mirror and twirled around. She looked very smart indeed with all those bright colours.
''What will happen to my old clothes?'' Margo asked suddenly. ''Oh we will use them as hand-me-downs for your sisters'' Gru replied ''I'm sure they'll grow to fit into them''. Edith looked at Margo's old clothes. She liked the idea of hand-me-downs already. Maybe she could pretend to be Margo and be the oldest of the sisters. Edith returned wearing Margo's old jacket, skirt and shirt. She thought she looked like a fine sight.
Gru took a picture of her in Margo's old clothes and Margo in her new clothes. ''That's a good photo'' Agnes said, after Gru had put it in a frame.
