On the living room of Avengers tower, there is a bulletin board. It is a navy blue with a steel grey border, undoubtedly from SHIELD. It was typically empty other than a "Team Meeting" notice from Steve every now and then or a grocery or requested weapons list or a passive aggressive complaint in post it note form. However, today there was a sky blue piece of paper tacked to it. Typed on it in black script was

The flyer had a cheesy clipart picture of various board games in the center. Again, probably from SHIELD.
Tony Stark immediately hated it.
Later that day, Tony asked Nick Fury, "So what's with the paper on the stupid bulletin board?"
" Are you calling the bulletin board I made in SHIELD's after work arts and crafts committee stupid?" Fury replied ominously.
"No-no sir." Tony said. He knew the director couldn't do any harm to him, being an avenger and super rich, but he still was very scared and intimidated.
"Well, it will be used as a team building exercise. Even though the Avengers successfully defeated the Chitauri, you guys are far from easily working together as a team. SHIELD thought it must be nice for you guys to take from trying to do so in training exercises and battle simulators." Fury explained.
"It might be nice to take a break⦠But still, how on earth or Asgard do you think your going to willingly get a billionaire, a super soldier, a scientist who can turn into a raging beast, two super spies and a GOD to play a game of Go Fish together." Tony exclaimed.
"Two things: Everybody's competitiveness" Fury rolled his eye while saying this. He hated to remember "The Great Paperwork Race of April" which just resulted in everyone trying to sabotage each other's paperwork-filling-out that no more got done and any previously finished were destroyed. "and the fact that it is mandatory and put on your work schedule as "team bonding time."
Tony Stark still hated it.
