1984 Vs. 2009: First off, is Frederick Charles Krueger a bad man? Can one say that Fred is actually "evil"? I think not. There are many possible ways, Fred Krueger did what he did for 20 years. Some say He murdered the inhabitants of Elm Street because his daughter was taken from him. Others Say It is because the children told an awful truth to their parents; that Fred Krueger molested them all. since both reasons are true, but in two different timelines, no one can say which one is actually the right reason for his inhumane acts.
One must also contemplate the reason for Fred's anger. Let's not forget he was beaten as a child. Yes, in the 1991 Horror classic "Freddys Dead"His daughter went from memory to memory witnessing the acts of Freddy's father whom intentionally strapped Freddy around the face with a leather belt. Which eventually drove him to madness, killing his wife in the near future. But his father's not to blame for his madness, no no. He was born into an unstable family leading him to do mental things all his life. In fact, he severed several class hamsters with a mallet in his elementary school classroom.
But all that information above is strictly from "Freddys Dead".
And although it never really states Freddys Madness in the remake of the horror classic of 2009, We can only assume, his acts of molestation were caused by his own father who molested him when he was a mere child.
