Sometime it amazes him how much time he has spent in the car for the past couple of weeks.
It usually ends up being a good ten hours before they stop for the night or to stretch their legs. That isn't the counting the amount of time they spent facing battles either soldiers or some creature that is wondering around in the wilderness.
From time to time she would feel Stella doze off against his arm. No doubt deciding to taking a nap against him. Not that he is necessary surprise being stuck in the middle and he has doze off once or twice. Usually short naps because he didn't want to have to suffer through nightmares.
He supposes that Stella is the same way.
After all she is like him.
She never seems to sleep very much. Always the last one to go to bed and the first to rise, and even when the camp out in the wilderness. Her sleep seems restless. Tossing and turning and like him she rather sleep away from the group.
She will admit the lack of sleep doesn't seem to bother them to much.
He slightly glance at the blond female sleeping against him. Bright golden locks falling lightly in her face, and her violet blue eyes closed. From his perspective of her face she seems to be sleeping peacefully.
He honestly hopes she continue to sleep peacefully. That his presence chases away her nightmares.
A couple of minutes later he dozes off joining the blond in a peaceful sleep.
