Brand new idea! ;-) At least new for you... No, not all of you ;-) You'll see what I mean.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything (though I wouldn't mind). Well, almost anything. Except one thing... Oh God, you'll see!

When Cameron came to work on Monday, the first person she noticed was her boss. Lisa Cuddy was standing at the nurse's station. There wouldn't be anything strange about that, but she looked… different. The most significant change was her hair. It was now shorter and red. Her clothes looked as if she had just bought them in Paris or Milan. Cameron just couldn't take her eyes off her. The Dean of Medicine looking like a model was a rare sight. She was… Well, she was simply jealous.

"Have you seen Cuddy's new image?" asked Cameron when she came into the diagnostics office.

"New image?" Chase looked at her surprised. "I've seen her a few minutes ago and she looked exactly the same as yesterday."

"Oh God… I know that men can only notice the length of woman's skirt, but her hair is red now. Red! You must be blind."

"Cameron, you must have mistaken her for somebody else," Foreman raised his head. "She's brought us test results. I haven't noticed any drastic changes."

"Are you suggesting that I'm color blind?"

"That's probable." House entered the room. "What are you arguing about?"

"Cuddy's hair color. Cameron's trying to persuade us that she's dyed it."

House just snorted. "Check your eyes. I can't imagine Cuddy with red hair… No, wait. I can. The patient is dying," he added. "Go do tests."

Cameron stood up with a sigh. In the lobby she noticed Cuddy. AND she had red hair. She quickly approached her boss.

"Dr Cuddy, excuse me, but I have to ask you something stupid… Have you dyed your hair?"

Cuddy smiled.

"My hair? Yeah, \a few years ago. Do you like the color?"

"Oh yes, it's great," mumbled Cameron, completely confused. "Sorry, I have to visit the patient."

There was only one person that could help her.

"That's driving me mad," she said, opening the door to Wilson's office.

"What happened?"

"What color is Cuddy's hair?"

"What?"

"Just answer."

"Black. Why?"

"I've seen her a few times today and it was red. Either I'm insane, or you're all blind."

"Don't worry," he smiled. "Come on, I'll show you something."

They went towards Cuddy's office. Wilson knocked and looked inside.

"Sorry for bothering you, but we've got a problem with your hair. Can we…?"

"Yeah, sure," Cameron heard her boss's voice.

She went inside, unsure what she would see. Cuddy was sitting on her sofa, drinking coffee and taking to… Cuddy. The only difference was the hair. One of them had black, the other one red.

"Black" Cuddy stood up.

"Cameron, let me introduce you… My sister, Marie Cuddy."

Cameron's face expression was priceless at the moment – something between 'How many of them are there?' and 'Oh my God, where has she bought those shoes?'.

"She lives in Spain and she came yesterday with an impromptu visit."

Spain, thought Cameron. That explains the shoes.

For a few seconds she was speechless.

"Nice… nice to meet you," she said eventually.

Marie shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too. Oh, and I'm sorry for that stupid joke, I just couldn't hold back."

"That's okay," Cameron smiled. "I made a complete fool of myself, but that's okay."

They all laughed. At that moment Cam's pager beeped twice.

"I have to go." She stood up. "It was nice to meet you," she said to Marie and went out.

She closed the door and inhaled deeply.

"Dear… God."

If you read "The storm" before, it wasn't probably that funny, but I couldn't hold back ;-) I liked Marie and decided to use her once again. As always - all reviews will be appreciated ;-)
