Sakura was leaned forward, slumped in her chair inside Purple Lion. She groaned and slowly opened her eyes. "Ooh, that hurt." She leaned back in her chair and looked around. "You alright girl?" She tried to move the controls. "You're exhausted, aren't you." She petted the console. "You rest up, that was a tough battle." She then sees Red Lion in the distance. "Keith!" She quickly gets out of her chair and runs out of her lion.

Sakura runs across the empty plans, she then sees Keith walking along the plans, she cups her hands around her mouth. "Keith!"

Keith turns around sharply and smiles when he sees her running over to him. "Sakura!" He turns and runs over to her.

She uses her jetpack for some jumps, and soon she jumps into his arms. "You're ok!" She smiles as she tightens his arms around her neck as he lefts her up off her feet.

"Yeah." He smiles as they pull away from their hug. "About you? Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I am." She nods. Then takes off her helmet, her long hair falls out past her shoulders and she rubs the side of her head. "At least I think I am."

"You still look beautiful." Keith comments with a smile, then takes off his own helmet, and gently kisses her. After awhile, he pulls away. "Come on, we need to find Shiro. I think he's in trouble."

"Shiro?" She frowns as she puts her helmet back on. "Where is he?"

He shakes his head. "I don't know, he said he's injured. And he told me to not hurry, then he said to hurry." He explained.

"Keith, we're in the middle of a barren wasteland. How are we gonna find him in this place?" Sakura folds her arms.

"Don't you have those trackers that you created?" He looks at her.

"Uhh." She reaches for her belt. "No time like now, for a road test." She turns it on, holograms of Red and Purple Lions appear.

"Can those detect body heat too?" Keith asks as he looks at the holograms of the two lions.

"It has that too, that's when the lions will let us know we're close." She said as they started to walk.

The two continue to walk, until Sakura screams when water shoot out of ground in front of her like a water sprout.

"Whoa!" Keith gasped when more water sprouts come out like a chain reaction.

"How do we get across?" She asks as the water comes back down.

"Careful." He takes her hand, and they head on through, careful to not make contact with the water sprouts.

With her right hand in Keith's, Sakura held her new tracker in her left hand and every once in awhile she'd look down at it, but neither of the two holographic lions let out a single roar.

Finally, they came to a big gorge.

"Shiro, what happened?" Sakura asked into her comlink.

"Sakura? There's several creatures." Shiro answered.

"Hang on buddy, we're coming for you." Keith's bayard appears in his hand. "We need to get across this gorge."

"We'll have to use our jetpacks to get across." She said, getting down on her knees, and carefully lean down. "First step is a doozy." She looks down into the darkened gorge.

"Maybe we won't have to use our jetpacks." Keith said as he tightened his hand on his sword, and she looks up at him.

"Huh?" She stands up. "What'd you mean?"

Keith walks a little ways, he kicks at a spot and water sprouts out, he smiles looking back around at her. "We use the water."

Her eyes widen. "What!?" She gulps. "Nu huh." She shakes her head. "Not me."

"You can use your jetpack." Keith over to the edge, he stabs at the ground and runs his sword across and he's thrown into the air, only for the little ground he's standing on starts to crumbled all the way and he screams as he starts to drop.

"Keith!" Sakura cries in fright, and watches as he uses his jetpack to slam himself onto the edge of the gorge.

"Sakura, Keith! What's going on, are you ok?" Shiro asks through the comlink, his voice grunting.

"Miner delay, but we're on our way." Keith grunted as he pushes himself out of the gorge, and stands. "How are you?"

"I'm alright, but I'm trapped in a cave, and some nasty looking creatures have me cornered." Shiro answered.

"Stay in there." Sakura told him. "We just got to figure this out."

Keith turns to her. "Sakura, you can do it!" He encouraged.

Sakura walks far back from the gorge, she pauses to take a deep breath before she starts to run. When her foot hits the edge, that's when she jumps and starts to drop and she screams.

"No, Sakura!" Keith tries to reach for her, just as she reaches the edge and she stretches her arm out, and grunts when she hits the edge of the gorge. Grabbing her already stretched out arm with his other, he's able to pull her up as she pushes herself up. "Kura, are you ok?" He asks with worry as she sits on her knees, she was sweaty and breathing heavily.

"Please, don't make me do that ever again!" She said with her eyes closed, then realization hit on what he called her. "Wait!" Snapping open her eyes, she looks up at him. "What did you call me?"

He straightens. "Ohh, Kura?" He asks.

She stands up to walk in front of him, and he blinks. But she pecks him on the lips. "Come on!" She hurries off, leaving him just standing there.

"Is that Black Lion?" Sakura asks as she and Keith run through the barren land.

"Yeah!" He chuckles. "Shiro, we have a visual on the Black Lion!"

They can hear growling and Shiro's screams, like he was being thrown like a rag doll.

"Shiro, what happened?" Keith asks as the continued to run.

The two make up to Black Lion. Keith puts a hand on Black Lion's mouth. "I know I'm not Shiro, but he's in trouble. We need to help him."

Sakura gasps when she sees giant purple dangerous looking lizards. "Keith?" She said with worry as she steps backwards, her eyes on the two lizards. The two creatures start to charge at two.

Black Lion comes back online, and opens it's mouth. "Kura!" Keith grabs her hand and together they run into Black Lion.

"Wow, Black Lion must think you have what it takes to be a leader." Sakura smiled as he takes the chair and the console activates.

"Don't get use to it." Keith said as Black Lion roars. "I'm not a leader." The lion hurries off.

The come to a big opening, finding Shiro surrounded by the big lizards. "Oh no!" Sakura gasps.

Keith moves the handles and Black Lion runs down to get above Shiro, Black Lion paws at a few lizards, and roars. The lizards run off and Black Lion roars again.

The three Paladin's are sitting around a fire. Red, and Purple Lions are now with them and are now working again.

"Thanks for saving me." Shiro said as Sakura nursed his wound.

"You'd have done the same for us." Keith said. "How's your wound?"

"My wound's great. It's getting bigger all the time." Shiro tried to tease, but winced and looked away when Sakura gave him a glare.

"Shiro."

"Sorry. Just trying to lighten the mood." He sighed.

"How did you get this wound, anyway?" Sakura asked as she pulled out more gaze from her first-aid kit.

Shiro closed his eyes. "On Zarkon's ship, the witch Hagger found and ambushed me."

Keith placed his hand on Shiro's shoulder. "Hang in there. When Allura and Coran find us, they'll fix you right up."

"Yeah! You'll get healed in one of those healing pods, that Lance was in." Sakura agreed as she closed her kit, and sat down on it.

"Keith, if I don't make it out of here I want you to lead Voltron." Shiro said, turning to him and Sakura's eyes grow.

"Stop talking like that." Keith argued. "You're gonna make it."
