As the green clothed warrior entered the room, to the farthest corner laid a chest just waiting to be opened. Link tiptoed over to the edge of the floor, then jumped onto the swinging lamp rope to perform his legendary swinging tactics. Back and forth as he swung, all that could go through his mind was what the treasure chest could contain.
Was it a compass, or a map maybe? Better yet, it could contain some red rubies or maybe even a silver one. Whatever it was, Link was determined to find out and claim it for himself; no one could stand in his way.
He jumped over to the other side, just then, those annoying rats had to get in his way! Slash, slash, swing, jump, dodge; finally they were defeated.
As Link neared closer to the chest he thought again of what just might be in it. Well, whatever it was, it had better be worth him defeating all of the enemies he had encountered. He gently laid his fingers on the chest, gathering all his excitement and eagerness into a final pull on the top. As the golden light started flickering around his arms, he searched inside to find his treasure. The dramatic background music was increasing, and growing faster with every second.
He found it! It was… it was…
...a joy pendent.
Link's expression turned to a somber one as he glared at the pendent.
Not again! This was the fifth one in this god-forsaken, dungeon!
