This is just a poem I wrote that was inspired by Stefan and how he struggles with his internal darkness. I feel for him and wanted to write something in his point of view.

To Love A Vampire:
Through the eyes of S. Salvatore
I have fangs that can tear you apart,
and arms to crush anyone that tries.
I love till it breaks me
and hate till it burns.
I can take what I want then
make you forget you ever knew me
I'll end a life to sustain my own,
then loath myself eternally for doing so.
There's a darkness
I fight to keep buried deep inside,
and the light of each new day
is a constant reminder of
the shadows that consume me.
You think you truly know me,
but I'm too ashamed to show you
what I have to keep hidden away.
Would you still want me if I told you
that every time you offer
a taste of your blood;
a part of me hungers
to rip open your throat and take it all.
I'm death,
but your love some how
brought me back to life.
I should walk away,
but you're the only one that sees
the humanity within this monster.*
