DYING LIGHT
Based off of the Dying Light trailer (2013) and the gameplay trailer.
Song: Run Boy Run by Woodkid
As the music starts (the gong beats), the man looks out over the city form a rooftop, as the sun sets. A flare launches into the sky, marking the safehouse/outpost for couriers. Seeing this, he starts to run. He runs off of the building, into some boards erected for construction, as it cuts to him holding off zombies at a door. He lets go and runs off to the side, into the sewer, as they stumble through onto the floor.
In the sewer (reminiscent of the scene in STALKER where they are in the pipe), the protagonist is running from zombies (running on water which splashes). He reaches a ladder which leads up to the surface. It's already night now. As he runs faster and harder now, his breathing increases, the exertion evident in his face, and in his breathing, a little bit of slow-motion to emphasize this, and now back to normal.
He throws a trap in front of him and jumps over it, as the now ferocious zombies, run, jump, slide, shriek and shake after him. Garrgh!
Some of the zombies step into the trap and get fried. The smarter zombies avoid the trap and continue to run after him. A little later, the outpost comes into sight, as our runs even harder and faster now. His spirit renewed at the sight of salvation and safety. The horde is now even larger and louder, growing with every minute. The lights of the outpost are now blinding, they shine at our hero and the horde. His determination now even more evident. The guards start shooting at the herd to thin it (from their vantage point). As he nears the entrance, the doors open, as the other guards wave him in while covering him.
He dives in as the doors close.
Just before the doors close, he catches a glimpse of the zombie horde.
They rasp "Good Night!"
The camera zooms in to the mouth of a zombie with a rotted, toothed smirk, who whispers,
"Good Luck"
