"Aya!" Aki clutched his heart as he awoke from a nightmare. He looked at his sister who woke up from Aki's scream. Aya looked at her brother sleepily and said, "What is it now?" She waited for an answer, butt nothing came out of her twin's mouth.
We'll have about an inch space,

"It's... It's nothing," Aki suddenly said. "Nothing at all." Aki tried to smile, but failed. "Nothing? You sure?" Aya eyed her brother suspiciously.

"Y-Yeah..." he scratched the back of his head. Aya picked up her pillow and threw it at him and said, "Oh, come on. Tell me about it." Aki stared at her sister and said, "Well... it's just that..."

"Uh-huh... go on..." Aya said as she sat up straight and grabbed her pillow. "And then what happened?" she yawned. Aki rolled his eyes and said, "I haven't even started yet."
"Then why aren't you? Just tell me what happened!" Aya impatiently said.
"Well..." Aki sighed, "I remember 'waking up' in a room. I had no idea where I was. So I walked around and—"
"Could we just get straight to the point?" Aya yawned again. "It's like, what, 1AM right now, here in Japan."
"...and I went into some sort of lab," Aki continued. "And then I saw you."
The vacuous night steps aside
To give meaning to Gemini's dreaming.
"So..." Aya looked at her twin, "you screamed because you saw me?" Aya threw her pillow at her brother again.
"It's not that..." Aki grew weary. Aya suddenly looked concerned. "W-What is it?" she asked. "I saw you..." Aki looked into his sister's eyes, "on the floor... blood on your face and all."

And the seemingly veiled
Room's lit by the same light...
"You mean..." Aya stood up, "dead?" Aki just nodded. Aya then had a fit of laughter. "Dead! Aki, I'm right here! And besides, it's not as if anything is going to happen to me!"

"Well, yeah, but still. I—" Aki was cut off by Aya. "I can't believe you woke me up in the middle of the night just for that!" she threw her pillow at her brother again. She went back to sleep then said, "Just go back to sleep, okay? Night!" Then she was fast asleep.

Aki just looked at his spitting image. I know it was just a dream, but even so, I wouldn't survive a day without you, he thought. You're like... my reflection. Of course you are, you're my twin. But it's not that. I don't know what it is, he yawned. I should save my worrying for tomorrow. He looked at Aya one last time then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

A/N: Well... I don't know how that relates to the song. And I honestly don't like this 752-word songfic. But I just had to get it out of my head so I posted anyway. And I don't think Aya's being OOC according to a certain someone. I just think that's part of how she is w/ Aki sometimes. And BTW, they're suppose to be like 14 or 15 in the fic (Yeah, before all that shit happened to them).
