Firstt day of Hogwarts.

"Hi Ginny and Gabriella." Martha said greeting them both.

"Hi," they both said together.

"I'm new around," Gabriella said, introducing herself. "Here. My name is Gabriella Montez."

"Is it your first year here?" She asked.

"Yes, Hermione." She replied. "It is my first year here."

"Okay," she said. "The sorting hat will decide on which houses to put you in first."

"Alrighty then," She said, as professor McGonagall

"Well," she started. "A moment shortly you will be addressed to which houses you'll be in. And your, luggage has been arrived, and bought upstairs to your dorms that you'll be in for the next eight years."

Then she left them to chat amongst themselves.

"So it's true then," A boy said. "Harry Potter's come to Hogwarts."

"Leave him alone," Hermione said, standing in front of Harry.

"No," He started. "He can't go around making friends with the wrong sort. That's for sure."

"I think he can tell the wrong sort for himself actually," Ron replied. "Who are you anyway?"

"Draco," he introduced himself. "Draco Malfoy."

Then McGonagall came into the room.

"Now," she began. "This will be the houses you will be assigned too. Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Griffindor and Slytherin."

"Gabriella Montez," she called, walking up the steps as she followed.

"I know exactly where to put you," he said, once seated down on her head.

"Griffindor," He told her, as she sat down at the table.

"There wasn't a witch," Taylor answered. "Or wizard who went bad in Griffindor."

"I know," Ron replied. "And I'm hoping for the same one."

Once they had all been placed into their houses, Dumbledore had an announcement to make first.

"Professor Snape," he started. "Will be your potions master for the rest of the year."

As they tuned out as Gabriella noticed Professor Snape looking over at her, taking his seat.

"Um," she started. "Why is Snape looking at me, Percy? I have a boyfriend named Troy, who is suppose to be here by now."

"Probably," he answered. "Because you fellow Wildcats, are brand new here. But also, cause your quite popular here. Why do you think that, Gabby?"

"I don't know," she replied. "But isn't he a teacher?"

"Yes," he said, eating his food. "He is."

Later that day, Hermione went find Ron when she bumped into Troy. who was going to find Gabriella.

"Hi, Troy," She greeted. "Why are you running around at a time like this? And weren't you suppose to be in Ravenclaw with Luna and them lot by now?"

"I was," he answered. "Until, I noticed that I wasn't going to be in the same house, as my future wife to be. And I, was running to see if anyone was waiting on me, but I had been too late, until, I bumped into you, on the way there."

"You should had," She sighed. "Looked where you was going."

"Well," He said. "I guess I just needed to know where Gabriella was. And you were right, I should've ooked on where I was going. When, I purposely bumped and stumbled upon you."

"Hang you," then it hit her. "Aren't on your way to find Gabriella?" She asked. "Or are you just here because you like and love someone."

"Yes," he answered. "I do like someone, Hermione,"

"And who would that be?" She asked, prompting.

"You Hermione," he replied to her question. "I like you, but if I do find Gabriella I will break up with her for you."

"Troy," She breathed. "You can't do that to her."

"Why?" He asked.

"Because she loves you," she told him. "And I'm not just saying it, Because I started falling in love you with too, but that wouldn't be fair on her, okay?"

"I know," He said. "But I have to believe that you can trust and believing me to do the right thing by breaking up with her, Hermione."

When Gabriella walked in on them.

"What do mean by breaking up with me for her, Troy?" She asked.

"Gabriella, I-" He tried to say, but was cut off.

"Just save it, Troy," she yelled at him. "But I cannot forgive you. I was listening in on conversation the whole time, and Hermione stuck up for me, but I think it's best if I move on like the rest of us already has."

"Gabriella, I did want to break up with yo-" He said, as she cut him off once more.

"So," She argued. "Why did you even want me to be your girlfriend in the first place? if you didn't love me enough, and time is getting on, I have to speak with Taylor about a few things that I wanna do the next summer, so, I'm gonna sit by the lake now."

"Well, bye, Gabriella." He said, pushing her over as Draco catched her, to stop her from hitting the floor.

"We saw what you did, Bolton." Pansy said, notifying Troy with a growl.

"And what was that?" He asked, somewhat dumbfounded.

"You pushed her," Draco shouted. "And now you will pay the price."

"Bye," She shouted. "Stupid head, Troy Bolton, don't speak to me ever again, and by that I mean never ever talk to me at all, until, I decide to talk to you again, and Hermione, your such an great friend to me. But you and him can have each other."

"Bye Gabriella," she said, waving at her, before noticing Troy's ever stare. "And thank you."

"Your welcome," she said, waving her hand back at her. "And goodbye."

She went to find Taylor sitting in the library reading a book. And walked up to tell what had happened between her and Troy

"Taylor," she said, distracting her from her book.

"What happened?" She asked, noticing her facial expression.

"Troy broke up with me," She told her. "And I am still hurting, because I thought he loved me, but now, I'm all lost. I feel so completely useless, Taylor and I heard their conversation as I was walking up to find him. But then, I knew that he had been talking to her, about breaking up with me, until she told him not. And I knew that I would have to move on from him, even when it hurt me the most. I feel like such an idiot for trusting him, Tay. But Hermione and I both know that, he loves her, because I could see the look he had on his face and I am never ever going to talk to him ever again."

"Gabriella," she breathed. "Don't be so hard on yourself, and thank you for telling me that he broke your heart. I'll see if I can get Chad to talk some since into him because I feel deeply sorry for you. Why don't you go to bed? And I see what I can do to get him to like you more."

"I know," She sighed, deeply. "And I am tired I will go to bed a little later, but first, I'm gonna go and sit by the lake and read a story or something."

"Okay." She nodded, as Snape entered.

"Taylor," he asked, as she was putting away her books.

"Yes?" She answered.

"Why is Gabriella going out at this time of night?" He asked her.

"Snape," She answered, calmly. "Troy broke up with her. She feels really upset, so she went to sit by the lake, to read a book or something, and she's tired. Can you see what you can do? Because she is very tired and she needs to rest."

"Okay," he sighed. "I'll see what I can do."

"Thank you, Snape." She said, politely.

"Your welcome Taylor." He said, back to her.

Snape went to find Gabriella sitting by the lake as Taylor had said in the library, and sat next to her and started talking to her about Troy because she was so upset with Troy for dumping her over Hermione.

"Hey Gabriella," he called and asked. "Are you okay?"

"No," she replied. "I'm not okay Troy dumped me for that mudblood Granger and she's a know-it-all."

"Look," he told her. "Don't worry about Troy and the mudblood Granger and also she's a know-it-all."

"Okay," she shrugged. "I won't worry about it."

"Good girl," he said, helping her up from the ground. "You look exhausted, Gabs."

"I'm just so tired," she answered. "And I need some sleep. After a long day like this one."

"Okay," he said. "I can carry you to bed, if you want me?"

"Sure," she said, as he picked her up.

"Your welcome Gabriella." He said, carrying her towards to dorm, so she could get some sleep, and slowly, he removed her shoes from her feet, and put them on the chest in front of him, also pulling the quilt over, and stroked her face.

Then he left her.

The next day Gabriella was put into Slytherin, and sat talking to Draco and Pansy, and they went to their very first class together, when Troy came up and talked to her.

"Hey Gabriella," He called. "We need to talk about us breaking up."

"Sorry," she replied. "Troy not talking about us breaking up, because it's your fault. So I am not talking about us breaking up."

"But Gabriella-" he tried, as she cut him off.

"No buts, Troy," she told him. "I don't care about you and that mudblood."

"Hey," he shouted. "Don't call her that, Gabriella."

"Well," she sighed. "I was only pretending to be her friend and why are we even talking when I said didn't want you to talk to me and you still didn't listen to me."

"Look," he told her. "All wanted to say that Taylor came and talked to Chad about me and you. But why would you tell Taylor that you and I broke up?"

"Does it?" She sighed. "Taylor has always been there for me when I realized that I don't need to worry because I always had a good friend by my side everyday."

"So we're not friends any more then?" He asked.

"Troy," she inhaled. "We ever ever will be friends again, so go back to that mudblood for all I care. Cause, your only making things bad for yourself anyway."

"Fine then," he sighed. "And by the way I never cared if you were or not Hermione's best friend."

"Just go away Troy," she shouted. "You started this by breaking up with me and now I don't care about you anymore. Not ever did I care, but I just don't anymore. because now I hate you and I mean I do hate you forever."

"You know what," she shouted. "Maybe, this is my fault breaking up with you."

"I don't care," He said. "I'd better get back to my work and home work before I get into trouble with the teacher."

"Fine whatever." She said, rolling her eyes, when Snape came over to see what was going on.

"I heard taking out loud from over here," he said, looking at them both.

"It's not Gabriella's fault," he admitted. "it's my fault."

"Well," he told him. "Your staying after the lesson. You get a detention for you, Troy. Gabriella, can you wait out side the class room? And I will be out in one second and Troy, don't go anywhere because your being paired up with Granger. Gabriella, your paired up with Draco Malfoy."

"Why does Gabriella have to be paired up with Draco?" Harry whined.

"Detention for you too Potter." He said.

"Why do I have to..." he trailed off.

"Look," He exhaled. "Troy, you don't need to lecture about yourself. Because it's your fault you broke up with her, in the first place."

"You should have thought of that," Pansy said, joining in.

"Should of thought of what exactly?" He asked.

"Before you broke Gabriella's heart and leaving here for that know-it-all Granger." He replied. "And she told you that she will never talk to you again."

"You seriously," Troy shouted. "Need to stay out of my love life and I know about Lily."

"No," he argued. "You don't know anything about Lily, because she's dead now I may have loved her in the past, but I can move on from that, but Lily has nothing to do with what is happening today."

"Not like I care." Troy replied, hitting his desk.

"Two detentions today," he pointed. "And tomorrow."

"I gonna go now and then I could have my detention after dinner."

"Run along now Mr Bolton." He said, taking the paper away from him.

"Okay." Was all he say.

"Gabriella," he called. "stay here with me,"

"Why sir?" She asked, confused.

"Because I need to ask you something." He told her, taking her hand in his.

"Okay."

After he taught her how he felt about her. he decided to go inside. the detention gave an hour for Troy until Troy found Gabriella.

"Please," He begged. "Gabriella, talk to me."

"No, Troy," she said, sighing. "I gotta go and sit with Slytherin."

"Gabriella, about what I said about Hermione." He tried, to apologize. "You've got to at least try and talk to me."

"Noo," she yelled. "And first of all, I don't need to talk to you and second, you didn't go away. When I told you too."

"Look, I just came to say I am very sorry for dumping you in the first place and I would want us to get back together again."

"No," She argued. "Troy, we can't be together. Because you dumped me for Granger and then you want me back and I don't like where this is going. you are mostly not getting me back and it's time we both moved on to new people. that's why we can't be together. this is forever over between us. but we have let go of the hurt. and move on to a better life. so I am moving on and forgetting about you and it's starting today. I don't care if we ever speak to each other again. your not who I think you were. and I'm sorry but we can't be together. not ever.

"Gabriella-" He tried to say, as she put her hands to stop him from talking.

"Save it Troy." She told him. "Because obviously, you're not worth it for me at all anymore."

"I wish Sharpay was here." He thought to himself.

"I gotta go," she told him. "And sit with Slytherin now. They are probably wondering on where I've gotten to by now."

"Fine go." He shouted at her.

Gabriella went to sit with Taylor and Chad and started talking about what they wanna do for the summer term hoilday and who they wanna meet up with during in the summer.

"Who do you want to meet this summer Gabriella?" Taylor asked Gabriella, when she joined them at the table.

"I probably," she said, gulping her water down. "Meet up with you and Chad and even meet up with Jason and Zeke this summer."

"Okay," She replied. "I probably meet up with you too, Gabriella and not meet up with Troy the stupid head, since he broke your heart."

"Why do yous call Troy the stupid head?" Chad and Draco asked together

"Because he broke Gabriella's heart Chad and Draco." She answered. "And it's all because of that Granger girl had made him move onto her, which is basically his fault for putting us is this position."

"Oh," Chad said. "I feel deeply sorry what he did to her."

"He spoke to me in class," Gabriella said, speaking up. "And then before lunch, he wished that Sharpay was here with us. She had to stay at her home with Jimmy."

"Why did she not come to Hogwarts?" She asked Chad.

"Because she got pregnant," He told them all. "Cause, she had to stay home."

"Will she come to Hogwarts then?" He asked.

"Yes," she replied answering. "She decided to come here after summer hoildays were or probably now, because I can see her coming through the doors, right now."

"Hi guys," she greeted then asked them. "Which house am I in?"

"Your in Ravenclaw Sharpay." He told her, as she was pointed to the third room.

"Oh, that's so cool," she smiled. "I am not jealous."

"Good now." She said, waving her away "You may go now."

Then Gabriella decided to get up.

"Guy's I have go somewhere," she said, getting out of her seat. "Now I have to sit by the lake and I've finished my dinner now."

"Okay Gabriella." They all said to her.

"Bye." She said, waying at them

"Bye, Gabriella." She said, waving her hand back at her

She went of and set by the lake until Troy showed up again.

"Troy," She said, calmly. Will you please go away?"

"No," he told her. "you know you like me, Gabriella."

"I don't like and love you anymore, Troy."

"Sorry but you do like me."

"No," she shouted. "I don't like you Troy."

"Gabriella," He yelled. "We have to meet up this summer."

"We can't meet up this summer, Troy," she replied, "Because I am meeting up with Chad and Taylor."

"Your not meeting up with anybody, Gabriella." he pushes her to the ground and kicks her.

She trys to make her way to the castle but falls down. Taylor helped Gabriella up and takes her to the hospital wing.

"Taylor," She politely said, 'Thank you for helping me up."

"No problem Gabriella." Taylor sighed, as Gabriella winced in pain.

"Do you think she'll be okay, Taylor?" He asked her.

"I don't know." She replied. "Troy must have hurted her pretty bad, Chad, but why would he do something like that to her. She never did nothing to him. He broke up with her for Hermione Jean Granger. and he thinks he can hurt her for nothing."

"What happened?" Snape asked, rushing over to see to Gabriella

"Troy hurted gabriella snape. I saw what happened to her. Troy pushed Gabriella down to the ground and kicked her."

"He's got a detention for hiting another student."

"I think I should leave," she said. "so she can have a rest."

"Good thinking Chad and Taylor and I should stay with gabriella," he told her. "So that I can keep a close I on her in case she decides to wake up."

"Thank you, Snape."

"Your welcome, Chad and Taylor."

"Snape," she sighed. " She needs you to stay with her. Just incase Troy comes here and tries to hit her again."

"Okay I am staying with Gabriella," He retorted. "And thank you, very much for your concern, Harry."

"Your welcome, Snape."

Hermione was going to find Troy when she found Gabriella in the infimry room.

"Gabriella, what happened?"

"I think it's best if you leave her alone miss know-it-all." He shouted at her. "After all, your boyfriend hit her, and now she's probably in a coma, because of you."

"Why should I leave her alone Snape?" She asked.

Then she left

"Gabriella," He called. "Can you hear me? If you can wiggle your fingers for me."

"Yes Snape," she answered. "I can hear you."

"Okay," He said, Stroking her hair, as she opened her eyes.

"What Happened?" She asked him

"Troy hurt you my love," he told her. "Taylor told me that he had kicked and hitted you for nothing."

"Oh," she said, trying to sit up, but she winced in pain, as he held her back down.

"I wouldn't," he instructed her. "Madam Promfrey told me that you would have to stay in bed for the next couple of days before you can walk again, but in order to do so, you'll have to stay with me."

"Okay," She said, reaching out to hold his hand. "Just promise me that, you will look after me, Snape."

"I will," he promised, picking her up gently. "I will look after you. I won't let Troy or anyone hurt you again like that."

"I love you," She said, yawning.

"I love you," he replied, watching her full faster asleep in his arms. As they made it to his dorms.

He laid her down on the bed and watched her sleep for a bit, then he decided to join her and laid his arm over her stomach.

A few hours later, she woke up, with sweat running down her face, and started to cry.

"Hey," Severus asked, sitting up beside her. "What's the matter?"

"I had nightmare," she told him, when he wrapped his arms around her, as she cried.

"Shh," he said trying to calm her. "It was only just a dream. Your safe. Nothing is ever going to attack you, because you got me, and the whole of the entire Slytherin house to protect you now. No-one will come in my dorms to hurt you baby, and I mean, no will. Cause, I'm here for you."

"I know," She answered, as he rubbed soothing circles on her back, and as he did that, she fell right back to sleep once more.

"Sweet dreams, loves," he said, laying her down, and putting his arm over her side, as he fell back to sleep.

The next day, he woke up, and decided to make Gabriella something to eat, as he put it on the table, next to her.

"Hey," he said, kneeling in front of her. "It's time to wake up sleepy head."

"Hmm," She groaned, waking up.

"Morning," he said, stroking her arm.

"Morning," she said, holding his hand. "What time is it?"

"It's 7:30," he answered. "And I made you some break fast. I'll be back at lunchtime to check on you, okay?"

"Okay," she replied.

"Here," he said, passing over a tray of food to her. "Make sure you eat it all, Darling."

"I will," she said as he left the room.

She started to eat when Dumbledore came in.

"Hi, Miss Montez," He greeted. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine," she replied, eating away. "Just a little sore."

"Okay," he answered, smiling. "By the way, Troy Bolton has been sent back to Albuquerque, which means he won't be coming back, until he changes his attitude towards you, Miss. Montez."

Then with that he left the room, as she put her tray on the the bedside table, and tried to get up, when she felt a little dizzy.

'I feel like I'm gonna faint,' she thought, when she fainted, landing her head softly back on the pillows.

Then Snape came back into the room to check on her.

"Gabriella," he asked, shaking her awake.

"Yes," she answered, groggy. "What is it?"

"Nothing," He said and asked. "Are you okay?"

"No," she answered. "I don't. My heads spinning, and I felt faintish earlier."

"Come with me," he said, grabbing a hold of her hands and helping her up, and holding her by the waist, and also, walking her over to the sofa to sit down.

"Is your head still spinning?" He asked.

"Yes," she replied. "It still is."

"Okay," he said, laying her down, on his shoulder. "Just rest it."

"Okay," she whispered. "Do you think it has anything to what I had to eat?"
