He saw her make the first move. Saw her kiss his brother. At first, Ethan thought Cal would push her away, tell her they shouldn't be doing this. But, Ethan was wrong. Just like he is when it comes to his brother. Cal didn't stop her. He didn't even try to push her away. Instead he kissed her back. Quickly, Ethan walked back out of the pub, praying he hadn't been spotted. Closing the door on his way out he couldn't believe what he'd just seen. A feeling of betrayal washed over him as he realized his brother and his friend couldn't be trusted. Alicia had lied to him. She had told him she didn't need a man in her life. Told him she was done with men. Cal, on the other hand, had betrayed him because he knew he liked her. Then again Cal never did care about what his brother thought or felt. Cal always got what he wanted.

It was late in the evening when Ethan heard the door to the flat close. He heard Cal walk over to him and sit down beside him.

"Alright, Nibbles?" Cal asked.

"Fine." Was Cal got.

Cal could tell Ethan was hiding something.

"You sure?"

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be? I mean it's not every day that I get to see my brother and my best friend kiss each other."

Ethan's answer caught Cal off guard. Did he just hear what he thought he heard? Cal swallowed nervously before speaking.

"You saw us?"

"Oh, yes. I saw you. I think everyone saw you."

"Ethan…."

"No, I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear you say I was drunk, she was drunk. It certainly didn't look like you two were drunk."

Ethan then got up and went towards his bedroom. Before he went he stopped at his bedroom door and turned to face his brother.

"I thought you had changed, Cal. I really thought you had changed."

Cal sighed as he heard the door to his brother's room close. How had he mess things up again?
