"Hey Roxas, let's play a game" The tall red-head said to his short somewhat midget-ish friend, Roxas looked up at Axel
"What?" He asked suspiciously, wondering what kind of trouble Axel would lead them into this time?
The two best friends were sitting on top of the tower eating sea-salt ice cream like they always did when Axel had decide he was quite bored.
"20 questions"
"What the heck is that?"
"It's simple, I ask 20 questions and you have to answer truthfully" The redhead explained
"What happens if I lie?"
Axel paused for a split second "I don't know, I've never played I usually just ask the questions"
Roxas glared "You're an Idiot"
"Oh whatever can we play? Please?" He gave Roxas a failed attempted at puppy dog eyes
"Fine. What are your questions?"
"Okay, first question; Are you happy?"
Roxas turned his head and stared at Axel with a blank face. "Ecstatic"
"Hey! I said no lying!"
"That's true but you said nothing about sarcasm"
"Fine then no sarcasm" Axel demanded
"Alright, next question?"
"Um…Are you in-love?"
Roxas turned away and hid his guilty smile "Something like that"
"Do you think I'm 'too nice'?"
"I might if you were nicer"
"Do you think I'm sweet?"
"Sickeningly so"
Axel paused he should ask the next question shouldn't he? Or was that a bad idea? Before he could think he asked; "Do you love me?"
"Depends" Roxas answered as if that was a normal question.
"On?"
"Do you love me?"
They both paused.
"Will you answer first?" Axel wondered out loud.
"No, Will you?"
"Can we answer at the same time?"
"…Fine"
"1, 2, 3…"
"I love you"
Later That Day
Roxas sat right next to Axel with Axel's arm around his shoulders, they were alone in Roxas' all white room.
"Hey Axe?" Roxas whispered breaking the silence.
"Yeah?"
"You only asked 8 questions"
"What? Oh crap we have to finish the game!"
"Okay"
And the stayed with each other all night finishing the game until they fell asleep.
In The Morning
Demyx searched the Halls looking for a spiky haired redhead, he stopped at Roxas' door and walked in. He saw both Axel and Roxas sleeping facing each other, curled up in individual balls but their hands almost touching. He smiled and heaved a pleased sigh.
"Finally…"
